remove public loby requirement on work but in io lose 10% sell value to keep rockstar happy

pay bodyguards more for all that kind of work not more than 200k/ hour though

nerf jets a bit, buff helis a bit (increase lock-in time on helis by 200%, make jet cannon rounds less damaging and put a 5 min cooldown on the hydra and only the hydra)

prevent strafing with marksman, reduce it to 4 shot kill

restore heavy sniper to 1s1k

remove pv badsport points

remove armored vehicle insurance

passive mode is enabled upon entering a session and cannot be disabled and abused

buff tank

buff new special vehicles, add to missions

everyone is happy. if you're being geiefed in public then leave as you have no reason to be there

Jet needs a nerf just as the tank did. Choppers do not need a buff at all. I think they should go back to if you are sniping you can't move that prevents the stupid straf two step. Heavy sniper is fine there should be no 1s 1k with any weapon besides rockets unless head shots. Passive mode is fine should not be enabled upon entering a session and it should be as it is with maybe a longer cool down only. Maybe going ghost to a player should last a bit longer. Not sure what needs to be buffed about special vehicles they take a lot of damage at least the ruiner and the truck with the nose cone do. I not only shot a ruiner with two rpgs i also hit it with two stickys and then he just turned around and rocketed me. THis is GTA you going to get killed if you can't handle being killed change lobbies or go to private lobby or just stay in passive. choppers are way too vulnerable to homers as is

there's really no point using them imo

People today don't know how well they have it made on this game either.

 

Be lucky that people have CEO and MC's to keep them occupied. Because 3 years ago, when no one had ANYTHING to do in freeroam, with billions of dollars, tanks and Lazer's, well that was pure chaos nonstop. I've said this before, but it's nothing like it used to be. Every lobby on last gen was damn near a murder lobby. Here on current gen, I have to beg people to fight me in freeroam, no one will bite half the time.

 

I only occasionally come across extremely violent lobbies. And I do CEO work a lot, and rarely ever lose product in lobbies (Go Ghost, get the job done, then leave the lobby if it gets worse). I'm not dumb enough to sell out in a crowded lobby though. No one should be dumb enough. That would be like selling drugs in a town that another gang already runs, people will just come after you.

 

Hydra's come down like nothing, and I don't see too many Lazer's anymore. These things aren't unstoppable. Only rarely do you find someone who can truly fly like a god. And if we had better helicopters, then more people would be bringing the jets down.

 

And you can't just blame the people. You kinda have to blame R*. I mean, look at what they've put in this game. It's obvious they like chaos. They give us the tools to do nothing but murder each other. We all are criminals too, killing is a natural instinct.

You can't not expect people to come after you and destroy your cargo when ever the game tells you to destroy it to earn cash, ammo and RP. IF any idiot can fly them then they should grab one and fight the other jet and stop asking to nerf everything. I have no problem with jets by the way I think they are fine as is. I think maybe the HL needs a slight buff for jets because the HL is useless against Jets as is but that is it. .Also VIbes makes perfect sense if you have issues with randoms messing up your missions play in either a nearly empty public lobby or a empty one. I have not had one problem getting into them and doing my missions. Last night I went from 4 k all the way to nearly 1 mill in about an hour or two. There were thee people in the lobby me and two other dudes they did their own missions and I did mine. After an hour it was just me so what did I do. I did vip work in between doing CEO missions.

I can easily say i have enough friends to last a life time in GTA. My friends list is filled with very skilled PVP players who can dominate and destroy an entire lobby in no time. But heres the thing.. If we start fighting players we fight players. CEO or biker missions stop. And free roam battles last a long time.

 

If you where doing CEO mission. You cannot stop me from ruining everything you`re doing. Even if you had 29 friends. You won`t stop me.. I know every dirty trick in the book. And its waaaay to easy to target players due to its Preschool blip system.

 

But you can kick me.. ANd you can try playing public game roulette till you find an empty session. (which can take while to find).

 

 

So im not sure how changing the game for the better... Is gonna ruing anything. You might like TRYING to join solo session. Id rather just be able to play invite only. And id rather the game be better balanced instead of making the game easy for people to be assholes in when players have no intrest in pvp.

Choppers are not way to vulnerable. The only time they are is when you decided to try and fight people and fly in close. If you stay at a distance you will be fine and HL can't kill you. When me and my friends fly around that is what we do we hit from afar and if we get in close we know we will probably be hit by a HL just as it should be. Not sure you are using special vehicles right if you are getting taken out by 1 explosive because I took someone's ruiner when he called it in and It spawned and before he could get into it I jumped in and killed him and drove that thing around. I took two stickys and a rpg before I died. Later there were a few guys driving the semi with that nose thing that were trying to run me over I I hit it with two rpg's and I hit it with 1 HL point blank as they were running me over before it died.

I have probably had this game longer than you. I not only had it from launch day I also have it on three systems ps3/ps4/ pc so ya i just got this for christmans lol. planes are not op I have no problem killing them they are spammy but are not op.

Jets are the most OP and unbalanced vehicle/weapon in the game. And thats not just comming from people who cry about jets. That comes from the mouth of skilled pilots too.

 

So when ever you feel like crawling out from the rock you're hiding under. Shoot me an invite.

 

 

Im sure some of my jet trolling friends with years of jet combat experience... Would love to see you put your money where your mouth is.. Infact i would love to see you get anything done beyond getting spawned killed for hours.

Choppers are not way to vulnerable.

They can be destroyed by snowballs. Of course they're too vulnerable.

 

 

 

If you stay at a distance you will be fine and HL can't kill you. When me and my friends fly around that is what we do we hit from afar and if we get in close we know we will probably be hit by a HL just as it should be.

Helicopters don't have a weapon that can out-range the homing launcher.

 

Ironically, the best way you can avoid homing launchers is by getting close, so you can hide behind buildings and pop up from behind them.

 

But that leaves you vulnerable to all the other weapons. Which will tear you to shreds in seconds.

 

So yeah, they're too vulnerable.

I used to mind my own business and was one of those that got killed by assholes so I spent more time in invite only lobbies but then I decided to go back to public lobbies and start killing before being killed. They somewhat sorted the blip issue on Next gen where you only see people within a certain radius unless you go into the pause menu. I play how I play and I'm not too bothered if that makes me an asshole... I enjoy it

Finding an empty lobby is not easy when you have fast internet. And before you suggest I start dicking with my internet, just consider the notion that having to do that just to enjoy the game is CLEARLY a problem with the choices made by Rockstar.

I guess this thread can be used as an example of an exercise to determine how many people actually read the text of the OP before commenting. Killing players is part of the game. In fact it's a NECESSARY part of the game.

 

Killing a player, blowing up their PV post-mortem, spawn killing them, shooting an RPG at your feet so you can respawn and get the drop on them to spawn kill them again, then getting a jet and using the god-guns on it to destroy any chance that player has of leaving the area, is being a dick. Trying to force a player into passive mode for no reason, is being a dick. Dropping what you're doing on one side of the map to fly all the way over to the other just to blow up someone's car delivery when it's of no benefit to you whatsoever, is being a dick.

No one said that just plain killing is the problem with freemode. It's the way that some people will go out of their way to go after someone relentlessly for absolutely no reason and receive hardly any resistance for being a dick that's the main issue here. There's a severe lack of balance for players in freemode due to the vast amount of play styles that vary between people. Not everyone is an avid PvP'er. So why are they forced to deal with god tier assholes when they're just trying to experience some new content? Oh right, Rockstars decision to lock most of the new features in freemode...

 

CarnageRacing's idea at least helps both sides to a good point. It's not a flawless idea, but it's a hell of a lot better than what we have now. I do like some PvP from time to time, but there are people who just take it too far when it comes to griefing...*cough*Jets*cough*...

Obviously it's "GTA", we all are well aware of it.

 

Even then it's not hard to see where the OP is coming from. When it comes to vehicle cargo in particular, the games (going by the loading screen tips and other import/export info I've gleaned) intention is for people to steal your cargo, unlike with special cargo crates which the game wants people to blow up for rewards, you get nothing for blowing up someone else's vehicle cargo afaik.

 

Again, obviously, the game provides you with the tools to do just that, but you can't deny that the intent (game design wise) is more for people to attempt to take the cars from you and sell them themselves instead of just swooping in and blasting ya with some jet fire or whatever.

 

Personally I don't have an issue with the situation as I don't even have a vehicle cargo garage, but at the same time I can put myself in the shoes of people who do and are frustrated with the current situation (such as OP).

 

Coming in and saying "it's gta dog, duh" doesn't really add anything to the conversation. It would be another story if while bringing the same message/opinion, you actually explained why you feel that way to actually provide another perspective that people can actually think about.

Since Rockstar hasn't listened to the suggestion of adding friendly lobbies, other ideas were made by people, like the OP's up here. So if we're not getting friendly lobbies, we might as well get something else to help out the non-griefers in public sessions.

Sounds like a great idea, but sadly it will never happen. When you think about it from a business perspective, the reason becomes obvious. Who is most likely to buy shark cards? Players with no money. Which players are the poorest? Those who never play missions because they spend 100% of their time griefing in free mode, which is actually fairly expensive to do. What incentive does R* give these players to buy shark cards? Expensive griefing tools like the Hydra, kuruma, insurgent, and now way overpriced special vehicles, which they need since they lack the pvp skills to give anyone any real trouble or even get past the soldiers at Zancudo to steal a Lazer.

 

R* is a corporate entity which is motivated only by increasing revenue. Delivering a better gaming experience will never be on their list of priorities, especially if it comes at the expense of selling more shark cards.

Forget it OP, the majority of the GTA fanbase could be considered brain dead. Seriously, GTA fans are the scum of the earth. Seriously, and Rockstar has the nerve to diss Call of Duty's fanbase? Don't make me laugh. I have been gaming for 20 years and even through CoD, Counter Strike, etc. I have heard the occasional dumbass, but in GTAOnline its a whole 'nother level or stupidity.

 

Worst part is, Rockstar encourages it to further their moneymaking scam, and the majority of fans are perfectly happy woth it because they are too stupid to realize theyre getting scammed.

 

So it's pointless OP. I appreciate that you tried, you really tried, with a cogent, well-laid out argument. Unfortunately it falls on deaf ears as most people both here on this forum and ingame think the game should always be 100% total chaos because [in a dumbass voice] "It's GTA." Which people with a functioning brain will realize is hogwash. Sadly your words are wasted here. It's better to just ditch this game and find a new series like I did,. I used to mind my own business and was one of those that got killed by assholes so I spent more time in invite only lobbies but then I decided to go back to public lobbies and start killing before being killed. They somewhat sorted the blip issue on Next gen where you only see people within a certain radius unless you go into the pause menu. I play how I play and I'm not too bothered if that makes me an asshole... I enjoy it
