bubbles on screen when it rains and blood from chainsaw

does anyone know how to remove the screen effects from rain and chainsaw in vice city?

Open particle.txd then replace the bubble image or whatever its name, with a transparent image.

[use Magic.txd if you going to openin the Txd file]

i couldn't find it in the particle file.

It is in the particle. txd

seems to be partially activated by particles.txd, i had to extract all the textures and then open them in photoshop and zoom in to match the correct one to the effect, however replacing the texture only removed the texture on the effect the circles still appeard in rain, i had a look in particles.cfg and found waterdrop was the culprit.

 

all i had to was set all the values to zero.

WATERDROP			0	0	0	0		0	0	0	0		0.0	0.0		0	0	0		0	0	0		0	0	0		0.0	0	0.0		0	0	0		0	0.00	0		0	0.0		0.0	0.0		0	0	0.0	0.0		0.0 	0.0		0.0		0

and then no more rain bubbles!
