Vapid guardian vs Vapid contender

I'm looking to invest in one of these so I wanted to get everyone's opinion on which has the better performance

Different racing classes. If you're just looking for performance in freeroam/missions however, the Contender takes the crown.

 

The Guardian on the other hand has this fun gimmick where other players can stand on your bed (or your roof if they so desire) without automatically ragdolling and falling off while you move at high speed.

@Mattoropael forgive me I forgot they were in different classes but I don't plan on racing with them. They're going to be for freeroam and missions. Thanks for replying

I got both.

 

Contender...ugh...i do not like the severe lack of detail and class it has...but it is the fastest of the 2, even offroad and is nr 1 in its class.

 

The guardian looks nicer to me though...and and it is one of only 2 Personal Vehicles in which a person can stand in the back while it drives.

However, neither can take an explosion - get an Insurgent

Neither can be called up automatically as a CEO vehicle.

Get the Contender for SUV racing - the 'best' in its class.
And the Guardian because of its sheer enormous SIZE - probably the biggest vehicle in GTA online, and about the same size as the Vapid Sandking. It dwarfs the Insurgent.

i though the enus huntley s was the fastest? have you tried it?

 

but i like the guardian. not because im on ps3 and only have access to it but i think the contender looks like a toyota tacoma, and im not a big fan of japanese trucks.

 

and yes the guardian goes through traffic just fine.

Huntley S had been dethroned by the XLS Armored all the way back in Finance and Felony, which itself got overshadowed by the Contender as soon as it was released in Cunning Stunts.

Contender has better performance but the Guardian is no slouch either. The Guardian is a useful vehicle is you like to go off roading.

The Contender is like a smaller, lamer version of the Sandking.

At snow, Guardian shows much better offroad capability than Contender. At normal weather (and terrain), Contender is faster. Considering that, 99,9% of year in-game isn't snowing, I'd get Contender, for the looks and performance.
