New Raid will be Baggage Handler, the playlist is updated. Also the 80's Turf War TDM will be played with Forced weapons only (micro SMG's). A new poster will be up shortly. I honestly beleive we have had some of the very best all around GTA players out there playing in the league during these two seasons. Aerora of DDNL offered to enter two teams as two completely seperate teams. We agreed upon how it was to be set up and Aerora presented a list of players in the two teams (DDNL and NNDL). One thing we agreed upon was that the players could not switch teams, they could only represent one of the two. As the winners of season 1 and with alot of active players it was a good solution to the problem, and much appreciated from the hosts. The final against GTAF was a close match. I was watching the Pier TDM yesterday and it came down to single kills in the last 10 seconds, very entertaining! The scores after the 8 jobs were in favour of NNDL (DDNL's second team). But after reviewing the players representing NNDL in the final we have no option but to disqualify any player that was listed and played for the other team (DDNL). We have to do this simply because it is against what we agreed upon in May. Recalculating the scores gives GTAF the win. I am sorry it had to end like this, but we do follow the rules and I know everyone involved do understand and can accept this. Congratulations GTAF to the gold and this should leave no shadow over your victory as we all put alot of effort into this league! Last week XDBX played SOFS for the third place and came out with the bronze medal in a close fun game. I would like to give all the crews from the two seasons a big THANK YOU from all of XDBX! There is no third season being planned right now, but if/once an opportunity arise we will be back. Meanwhile we and probably most crews in the league are always open for a battle! Andreas Posted October 16, 2017 Share Posted October 16, 2017 (edited) Here are the videos I captured from the battle, all included in a video playlist: I have to say that the last few months were really enjoyable -- probably the most fun I've had in GTA Online yet. The game was getting a little stale, but this league made it really fun again if I'm being honest. In the beginning I didn't take it too seriously, in fact, I didn't practice that much. That changed by the time we played round 3 or 4. Honestly, I had totally lost my interest in racing a couple of years ago, but I was forced to get into it again if I wanted to stand a chance at all. Thanks to Clash of the Crews, I have a new found appreciation for racing in this game. Some of the Adversary Modes that I found to be decent-ish at best, now I really enjoy and wouldn't mind playing again. Thank you for having set up this league! bloatedsack Posted October 16, 2017 Share Posted October 16, 2017 I didn't play in this, I was only involved briefly with Iann in trying to get him in touch with people on my side after we had some pre-season changes. I'm extremely glad to see that we came out on top, even if it was a TKO. Watching our scratch team develop, work, practice and push each other was great and I can assure you when I tell you that any communication about opposite teams was only in respect to your ability, not denigrating. There's going to be some serious grudge matches next season if/when you get it going, and I hope you do. It definately had people on my side who were like Andreas, all burnt out, re-invigorated and I think some of the folks who initially blew it off wish they could've gotten in on it. Anyways, good game to everyone. I hope you keep it running for another round, I mean, you've got how many months before RDR3 shows up? Hell, they haven't even announced the inevitable delay yet.
