What makes us so special in comparison to others? Well, firstly, our project isn't just a modpack with cars stolen off the internet with a few romanian ads and boom "GTA: Romania"...NO....Our project is a total-conversion. Dear reader, you've read it right, total-conversion. What does that mean? Eh, it means a new romanian map made from scratch, with romanians who walk on the street, out beloved doctors who take bribes and our kind of incompetent cops, new features in game (a.k.a CLEO mods), cars which are popular on the romanian screets, new sounds, new romanian radio stations, etc... In short: Everything romanian This is what our project entitled "Grand Theft Auto: Welcome to Romania" aims to represent. This project will represent a total conversion done in the best way our team can, as well as the first project of this type in Romania, a project which will "romanianize" the whole game. At the moment, we are at the beginning, we have a lot to do, however considering we have been working for quite a short amount of time, we think we are doing fine. We gladly wait for your thoughts, your advice for the project and, why not, a wishlist from every future player. universetwisters Posted December 24, 2016 Share Posted December 24, 2016 I would definitely suggest actually putting the sidewalk/pavement up on some sort of curb so it doesn't look like the road is cheaply drawn on it. Not unless they do it like that in Romania. Also if you want SA-styled European vehicles, I have some made if you want to use them. This map is temporary, buildings position will change, pavement, semaphores, lighting and electrical poles will be added later. We only want to show our buildings. I'm glad you want to help us with cars. We will work om them after we complete 50-60℅ of map. I would want to see a custom storyline (which will probably never exist because it is very hard to do, but I just wish for it ), custom timecyc and atmosphere to resemble Romania. Good luck. I played that cringy modpacks some years ago and now they burn my eyes. Something with parody companies, parody city, parody cars and nothing real like Dacia cars or something. You can create, instead of it, a parody car , something like Celia or Lacia very close to a Dacia car. But that 3D mods with real cars are no-sense. So, I have a question for everyone: Do you want to create another European-themed GTA Europe or something like this? This will include new parody-cities based on some European cities (for example: first city is a combination of Bucharest with Brasov and Constanta, and second city a combination of London, Manchester, Edinburgh, third city Paris, Lyon, and so on...).
