Progen Itali GTB Appreciation Thread

Biggest mistake of a purchase ever. The car refuses to turn, so the times I get are absolutely terrible. It barely moves wen turning into a corner and just decides to keep going straight and crash into a wall or tree. Selling the car is the only way I can redeem this thing.

Is it just me or is the front bumper lower than the overall side of the car? It's been making me itch how everytime I put the Itali into a stance I notice a gap in the side skirt but the front looks like it would scrape and get ripped off the car if I just make it go forward

I know, right? It hates turning, and the rear looks like an abomination. Sold it.

I haven't really raced it yet, but acording to Broughy1322 the regular GTB is the 11th fastest super in the game on his track - ahead of cars like the Tyrus, Entity XF, Turismo R and others - so it can't be that bad. The custom is slower though.

I like it - and I like how it looks too. It grows on me everytime I drive it.

I'm cursed by this car...

I hate it, but I love it at the same time...

Did they do something with the Itali Gtb in the latest patch? Did a stunt race earlier today and it seemed like it had higher top speed and better grip than my Nero Custom and I didn't make any mistakes and had good racing lines

I don't think the handling data changed with this last patch. From what I understand only the physics got "corrected" for all vehicles. This car and the GP1 really need the downforce multiplier higher.

Okay, thanks

Ya its a great car but is it better then the rest? Should i re buy the stock and upgrade it or let it be. Help me out please

If you do a lot of straight/shallow turn high speed racing, then you might want to upgrade. I kept mine as stock, its better for more technical type of driving. The reason is the spoiler has more downforce then the "upgraded" version that uses downforce multiplier. But if you don't care about that stuff and just want to go by looks, do whatever you like :)

it's about mid level in supers, here are some videos

Easily one of my most beloved supercars. I really like the look of this car. It can be handful to control, but when you have one of those good days, it's a dream to drive... On other days it can behave like a nightmare.. I just love it...

Here's my custom... No photo of my regular one, but that one is a keeper as well...

This thing loves Stunt Races - the Italia GTB at least. Gets huge boosts from wallriding the tubes and I guess it's lightweight low drag allows it to keep more of its speed.

Maybe it's just the PC version, but I've been called out for cheating a few times now. Make sure you do curb boosts and wallride up and down the sides of the tubes, and you're laughing.

^^^^ I'm loving the way my Custom handles in stunt races! That's the car I break out when I'm in a lobby full of pitters. It doesn't have the top speed of the X80 but it seems like it has pinpoint control and traction in the tubes for countering moves.

So since the Gunrunning update changed the way downforce works, does anyone know if the custom Itali is better than the regular one now?

So...nobody? lol

Don't have one and haven't tested myself, but it should be a little quicker than it was. Watch broughys vid, it's not a huge difference. The custom was always faster for stunt races anyway.

Ah, thanks. I'd get the custom one even if it's only equal to the normal one now, being a bit better would just be a bonus. lol
