Because the DB10, the primary influence for this vehicle, does not have a trunk or opening hood. Not being able to view its engine or trunk is accurate to the real life counterpart. It was basically just slapped together for the last Bond movie. It's not going to production as featured in that film. Since R* decided to make it a production car in GTA V they probably could have improvised a bit and gave the car a functioning hood, since Aston will obviously have to do the same once they make a version of the car available to the public, but whatever. If you can afford to buy a DB10, I think it's safe to say you have the resources to get to the engine without damaging the car should you ever need to. More of a show car than anything though given its rarity. Personally I'm glad R* didn't decide to normalize it by giving it a hood/trunk. I'd really like a nice silver to make a bond replica but I've since given up. Not to mention I'm struggling with getting hex codes to work properly. coelacanth72 Posted January 25, 2017 Share Posted January 25, 2017 Racers rejoice, this dog will hunt. Hosted a few 5 lap non contact races to see how she does and it really surprised me. Right on par with the elegys, little more top end and slightly less traction, but they're very balanced. Specter will have the edge on faster tracks. That said, it's a beautiful car to drive, crisp without being twitchy, and planted without feeling heavy.
