Gnocchi Flip Flops Posted January 20, 2017 Share Posted January 20, 2017 Finally drove the finished product for more just than a couple of yards this time when I got home. It's so nice to drive and listen to but I can't get over just how bespoke I made it. I'm loving the contrast. Black stockwheels, yellow calipers, rich blue metallic paint, white and black interior, yellow stitching. And of course that grey and yellow stripe. It's a real shame I've been spoiled from playing The Crew so much. Makes me want for a huge map just to drive this car across like I would in that game. I don't think I'd love the aesthetics of this car as much if I couldn't change the brake calipers or if I couldn't change the interior color. It really does add a lot. There are some people who just care about the car and what it drives like and overall looks like and then there are people who just have to have the car the way they want it. Me pretty much. It's fast but a bit loose in the corners with some wheelspin from standing which I like, one of the best looking sports cars in the game, great startup sound, weighty but agile handling, bags of character all round. For mine I wanted it to look classy but not too classy. Like if Bond was driving it he'd be accepted at the masked ball at the bad guys mansion with no questions asked but it's not just your standard plain silver Aston. I have a love/hate relationship with the matte with pearl route, it can look so fantastic depending on the angle and lighting, but sometimes it just looks flat and dull, does depend on the colors of course but grey needs some shine to it to keep it interesting and the matte just can't do that. My 7-70 has the matte light grey with ice white pearl though, all the curves and lines it has cause it to pretty consistently have the pearl showing on it. Meonez Posted January 21, 2017 Share Posted January 21, 2017 All in all, i love this car... It looks good, sounds good, handles nicely and has great customization... Also it's pretty cheap... There's some things that annoys me however, such as the dual rev counters and the extremely low seating position... Also the seats are very short if you look at them... Work is in progress on my Aston Martin Vulcan look alike Specter Custom... Just need to rack up some more money to add the last mods now... I know this car is based on the DB10, but with the right mods it can actually look a lot like the Vulcan aswell... I'll post pics when i'm done, really loving how it has turned out so far! Sure some people, maybe many people might not like what i have done with it, but this is exactly how i imagined the car to look....except for the spoiler, i was hoping for a lip spoiler, but yea, i am not upgrading this to a custom were the wheel arches are far to wide for my taste when honestly, the spoiler is not really breaking the car, its rather that it just adds nothing and makes it look a tad to complicated, but even that is debatable and i found the alternatives far worse.
