Got one of these on sale!

I always enjoyed the Adder back in SP, won a lot of races with it as Franklin.

Question: what does Benny's Custom mod add?

I don't like using liveries, not going with a big spoiler, wondering if you can keep the stock look and just add performance, or is it just an aesthetic mod?

I don't want to waste $330,000 and hate it.

It comes with a non-functioning giant spoiler, which I think you can still glitch off using the menu-scrolling trick, but you wouldn't have the traction bonus unless you bought a new spoiler. You lose the active spoiler of the original completely. There are also a few extra cosmetic differences such as extra vents on the hood, and a non-removable front splitter, tow hook, and side skirts. I'd keep the original one if I were you.

True of above, but I find it drives harder, seems more raw, and also it's the only way to de-chrome. I gotta have both in my garage though.

I have my Benny version de-spoilered, all black but it's so nice e without the chrome in bold colours aswell.

I got mine original too, and I very much agree. The active spoiler is cooler than the upgraded equivalent (which can’t be removed either) and I prefer this car looking ”classy” - mine looks pretty much identical to @crsN’s at the top of this page.

I might get myself a ”racecar”-version in the future though, as it’s a pretty great car for racing purposes.

I forgot to take a snappy of mine, I'll try to remember tonight.

Not a fan of liveries, myself, so she'll always be in street trim.

I should remember to buy one for my other character while it's still on sale.

Finding an Adder one night in SP was a golden moment, it's a fine racer, and just fun to drive, the Nero is that as well.

I've had a Custom in my garage for years without doing anything to it, but the 1:1 scale Lego Chiron piqued my interest. Was happy to learn that most of the obvious race mods can be removed to leave you with a clean-looking car with just a basic bodykit to distinguish it from the standard street version (cutaway doors and larger hood vent aren't too intrusive) . Found a perfect set of wheels in the Mercie ch. lips, which are far closer to the factory rims than the bizarre cotton reels it comes with, and a Low Level GT Spoiler that doesn't obstruct the clean lines at the rear of the Custom (the regular Nero has a rib down the centre of the rear window, and the ugly hole when the active spoiler is raised). It also matches the body profile with the downturned tips and general shape, and is very similar in proportion to the fixed spoiler of the Bugatti Divo, which really helps balance the back end. I did try it with the spoiler glitched off for a short while, but the handling is so much better with one that I couldn't live with it. Neglected ugly duckling to daily driver in a very short space of time. :)

Is the Nero [custom] still a Super contender with all the other super cars that have been released since it joined Legendary Motors?

In terms of raw track performance? No. But its heavy so will mind getting hit less then most other supers. Its easier to drive (for me) then a Vagner, so it might be better for some people. But the ultralight Vagner is king.

This car and the Stafford looks like they belong in GTAVI. The amount of fine detail (and love, really) put into them, the proportions and the true to the RL counterpart is really admirable. Its really a nice car.

Most of the recent cars we've got the last 2 years will be reused in GTA VI, no doubt about it.

I mean, compare something like the Cheetah (which looks nothing like an Enzo) with its Classic counterpart (which does looks like a Testarossa). While we have gotten some duds from time to time (like the original Jester Classic), there's no doubt that whoever is in charge of modelling new cars has improved.

It's a shame that the stock Nero has way less customization options than its Custom counterpart.

I mean, I get that's kind of the point with Benny's but things like being able to change the color of the engine, the grille or those chrome stripes on the sides wouldn't hurt anyone.

Right now, it's currently impossible to recreate something like the Chiron Sport without upgrading and that sucks.

I agree 100%

The grille, engine block & the trim are all minor details that should've shared between the 2.

The Custom is too much of a track car to pass as a GT.

I love this car but I can't get over how big and bulky it is for a super car. Only reason I don't drive it as much as I want to.

Its chunky, but watching the spoiler rise up gets me every time.

Yeah the custom is more hardcore. I have mine without rear wing but it's still no GT, what with that unremovable front splitter and it feels way more rough and angry anyway. The non custom is smooth and more relaxing.

It is so frustrating the way R* limit our options, from already existing options. They just don't want to make too much money.

My thoughts exactly.

Yeah, I really dislike that splitter.

It's not extreme/different enough for a divo though, have to think of it as a Chiron sport.

Chiron Sport might work if you remove the spoiler.
