soapie Posted January 5, 2017 Share Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) I finally got one and now that I got one I feel complete for some reason, maybe it's because it's the only supercar I have the moment since all of the ones I used to have got sold because I didn't have money and I didn't drive them much, and if I did have the money the ones that were available didn't attract me much but now when I have the money this thing shows up. I was sick of getting beat by people driving the Nero (I usually use a custom ETR1) so I bought one yesterday and I did a few races with it, and it is A LOT of car. It's heavier than the other new supers, and it doesn't turn as tightly as any of the cars that came out with the stunt update, so I'm pretty much flubbing one or two turns per race and ending up in the water, and I'm still trying to figure out how to judge jumps since I'm getting WAY more distance with this car that I'm used to. I am having a similar experience that I have when I try to use the old Elegy for sports car stunt races. TL:DR, it's a great car but be ready to relearn how to drive the stunt races. Most of my cars end up being green in one shade or another. My last two cars IRL have been green. Lately, I’m also liking the matte paints with pearlescent finish look. Back- matte forest green Front- matte foliage green Pearlescent- sandy brown I can’t bring myself to upgrade the spoiler because I like the way the stock spoiler attaches to the roof of the car. I’m wondering if performance is better with an upgraded spoiler or the physics of the game just see it as you have a spoiler or you don’t. This car competes well with any of the supers in racing. I’m still not as confident with it as I am with my go-to T20 but it’s fun to drive and I have won a few races with it. It also has a nice little controllable drift in hairpin turns. Turns out I'm genetically pre-modified to like it :\ *In Dave Chappelle voice* Gosh darn it, Scaglietti! CreepyUncleLester Posted January 6, 2017 Share Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) Nero IS the best all around( said by the broughy himself on one of his streams) its jack of all trades , on the stunt races like plummet its unbeatable if the drivers are equally skilled at driving , the reason i say it's the best all around is : right now it sits as the 4th quickest car on broughys track and it's the second car with best top speed ( first place share 811 and banshee 900 r, they were both nerfed and have top speed of 129.5 mph while nero has 128.5, proof for this is broughys last video called top speed change) the only car that is as good as it is in all aspects of racing is x80 but is lacks traction , its unforgiving and is terrible for cornering ,so i would take nero over it any day imho, still re7b is better than it for lap times on the laps with many corners but it's top speed is terrible and is easily outmached by nero on most of the tracks , for top speed 811 is still the king , it beats nero by 1 mph but 1 corner is enough to make 811 users regret ever buying this thing , so for me racing is like this : nero most of the time, x80 ( if i want challenge) , 811 if its strictly straight line and re7b if its strictly cornering , sorry for the long post have a nice day guys. The Nero is also one of the few cars in it's category which is nice heavy, solid with a good weight distribution.It's perfect to bump and bounce off railings so you could take more risk of gassing in the corners. Totally agree with you, cant wait for the next super car premium race ( the one that is going on is for sports cars) during last super car premium race ( plummet) i got over 1 million just by spamming nero, its so easy to get first place , the only real opponents were the ones that used nero too, i dont think any car can get near nero in this race. I always use my RE but went i have to race agains a Nero they are hard yo past them. I'm thoroughly enjoying using both versions to their fullest with the double payments in Stunt Racing. Same I see it as more of a luxury GT car that happens to be super fast. It's so relaxed driving around town. I went with the stock rims but black as I felt they made the Koenigsegg blue with the Sienna Brown leather pop more. I still have yet to get proper pictures of it and honestly haven't been playing GTA much lately. But here is mine: The lighting sucked during the snow.
