I thought it was 20, and yes; it's too long.

Also, if you turn off during it, it follows you the next time you turn on. Or at least, I'm pretty sure it did with me earlier.

Still no cooldown on calling up a Hydra though :rol:

I can see their reasoning though considering the fact you can just bring one car in after another with no wait period and you can sell up to four. Its not the best way to set limitations to how much one can earn with this update though. Like with Biker you can easily fill up a buisness with maximum supply. It can be done in one fell swoop pretty quickly but you gotta wait for the business to turn that supply into product. That was how they limit how much cash you can rake in on a short time period through the biker update.

So I do agree with the timer howerver I do believe it does need to be reduced.

However though I wonder if the cooldown only applies to one garage only. Like if I own two but only did a sale on one garage does that mean I can still do a sale with cars in my second garage? I ask this cause in the Biker update you could have multiple businesses operational constantly churning out product so using that reasoning you can do more than one sale if you own another garage.

Lastly what is considered a dick move in my book is limiting the size of your car sales to the number of players in your group. Clearly set in place to punish those who solo that stuff. Well excuse me Rockstar for having the audacity to not ask my friends into helping me with something they would recieve very little rewards for the time they put in. There is a reason why my friends are on board to do heists but are not so enthusiastic about helping you do CEO and Biker stuff.

A player can make more money just doing contact missions and it gives you a lot less of a headache as butting heads with players all the time is exhausing after awhile.

Its one of the reasons I always done this stuff solo as I always felt like an ass asking my friends to help with something, wasting their time, and having little to show for it as a result.

Time is too long. Special Crates was a perfect amount. 2-3 minutes once back at the office. Somehow the guys back at Rockstar managed to calculate the time it takes to gain all 40 cars, and compare it to the cool down period, and still managed to get it completely and utterly wrong. Classic Rockstar, at it's finest again.

Ok, but we are talking about selling , not retrieving.

But selling those crates has a 30 minute cool down timer , and I believe it has been said that there is also a 2-3 minute cool down timer for getting the cars too.

That's what I'm talking about also, sorry if I worded it poorly.

People on reddit calculated that you can get 271K per hour in this gamemode, and after seeing how hefty the start-up cost and effort is, I don't see the point in owning one.

I can get 225K per hour using the Wave method and collecting bounties, all without even spending anything on ammo or repair costs because I'm in my Hydra the whole time.

i love it, just one car to get so no stupid going back and forth like ceo warehouse missions. after i sold one i either go mc president and check on my businesses (rarely tough becaues mc business is actually ass) or i do some cool ceo missions. This one is the best they added by far.

271K per hour?

How is that correct? You can easily sell 4 vehicles every 20 minutes so it'd be a lot more than 271K per hour even after all the costs.

4 vehicles every 20 minutes? The cool down after selling 4 vehicles is more than 20 minutes and the cool down for selling one car alone is 15 minutes til you can sell another.

At first I thought it would be longer, but seeing the payout... f*ck that. 5 mins would have been good enough for a cooldown.

I`m now halfway to making my money back on this Import/Export business.

I haven't find a proper logic behind the cooldown time yet.

If I steal one car and sell it, I have a 15min cooldt, but if I do Sightseer/etc. during the cooldt, the time increases into 20min.

If I return to Singlep the cooldt stops, but once when I was out from the online ~3 hours, the cooldt had decreased into 10min.

This is how it usually has gone with me, but it's not always this regular, so I wonder what other factors increase the cooldown time? I've been trying to determine if this is more valuable than crates and I've had a stop watch with me so I'm quite sure with these numbers.

DarkSavageDeathlyCloud

Cooldowns suck.

Really...even without the cooldowns this kind of mission still would equal about 30 minutes from stealing it to selling it...for about 60 k in general

Doing the pacific standard still earns way more

with no investment and no associate requirement that puts import export to shame

People that spend time calculating how many GTA dollars they make per hour makes me cringe. It's a god damn game. Seriously, how much fun are you actually having if you're constantly doing math and working out if a game mode is "worth it".

Lighten up. Smile. Have fun.

If you export 4 vehicles (you can do this as long as you have 3 associates in your warehouse) it's a 44 minute cooldown. Rockstar is really trying to stretch the playtime to make everything a long boring grind. Trying to increase shark card sales I'd imagine. Such a shame this is wasted potential.

Something resets the timer too...

Not sure if its vip work or the special vehicle missions, but my timer was at 16mins, I go do both of those, the Lotus special vehicle mission, and a vip work, and go check my warehouse and the timer says 17 mins... f*cking ridiculous.

This post has it all. In order to make any real profit you should sell 3-4 cars at once, so you need 2-3 slaves, ehm I mean friends, to help you. Oh, that cooldown increase makes it even worse...

I need to add that collections are nice, but it makes no sense that you can sell the same collection again. So Cris Formage is willing to buy the same set of cars with same license plates over and over again? C'mon R*. Add some awards to those collections... Make them desirable. Only thing that is great in them is that all associates get the bonus (20-50k). But even that isn't a huge profit when you consider the time one needs to put collecting those certain license plates.

I can confirm that . today I sold 4 cars at the time with 3 associates . 40 mn cooldown ! WTF !!!!???

with that beeing said , I recieved 315k , after losing around 15k damages on all 4 cars during the delivery (it was 2 Top- and 2 mid range cars) .that´s 260k pure profit in one sell run , still decent I guess...
