How do you get into a public lobby by yourself on Xbox One?

I've read about a lot of different methods for PC and PS4, but can't find any for Xbox? My Internet isn't good enough to play with large groups of people, so If I join a lobby with 5 or more people, it almost instantly boots me.

looked for a long time on this. Found one. Pretty much go into router settings in a browser and change your MTU to as low as you can go. It will kick everyone from the session, what it really does is split the session and put you in one alone.

 

People will end up joining sometimes though. But it works.

I found one on another site that works if you typically run a wired connection.

 

1. Connect via wireless

2. Boot up and go online

3. Plug in ethernet cable

4. Enjoy your solo public session. You can invite friends/crew if you want

I have a trick that works 100% of the time. Unplug your ethernet cable for ONE SECOND, SHARP, and plug it back in.
