^This is why Mesa is a sh*t location!

All the tryhards that camped there for me were surprised when I came in the back way.

LOL. They not very smart.

Which warehouse is closest to the main helipad? That's the one I've used. I couldn't imagine using any other.

I did some research a few months back and bought La Puerta, I drive no cargobob for me and im happy with it. I leave my kuruma by the bridge not far away drive down and shoot the AI one by one and no choppers come either. I have had few problems driving in a session with others except for a hydra blowing me and the car up once, never robbed yet and haven't seen anybody else in it even in a full session. I would imagine a cargobob has some decent room to hook the car but I like to drive.

I bought that location an hour after I/E dropped and haven't looked back. I've helped a bunch of people deliver to a plethora of warehouses and always thought, "self, why would anybody own anything different than you? You're so smart." Ha. True story. I only ever source and sell the ETR1 (and the odd collection) and money couldn't be easier.

I'm all about Reapers myself, closing in on selling 700 of them.

I've helped with sales from all warehouses, still think La Puerta is the best one. I can't understand why more people don't have it.

It's neither the cheapest, nor the most expensive. That's all that matters to the majority of GTA gamers.

Murrieta Heights is a terrible location. Penned in by buildings and walls, with a single gateway into a narrow yard. Perfect for those with more money than sense.

True. I tend to avoid both, unless the location is too good to miss out on.

I tend to find the second most expensive of any property is the best.

Keeping in mind I only sell in empty public lobbies, La Mesa has been excellent for me since I've bought it. Excellent access to the highway, where cars rarely swerve into you. I only bother Vagos when I start Headhunter and never when I'm sourcing/delivering a car. I know this sweet spot to get rid of the four waves of AI enemies. It has never given me any regrets.

I have yet to find anyone who have camped outside it and stole my car.

Murieta Heights is the best one.

- snip -

If you own a Hangar & a Cargobob, Elysian Island is the best one. ;)

Ample of space to land a whole fleet of Cargobobs, quiet & isolated, and the Personal Aircraft spawn is so close you can get to the Cargobob without activating the enemy AI.

If you are doing it old school, you have direct access to both the highway & train tracks.

As a owner of a warehouse in Elysian Island for almost a year, I kind of disagree with that.

Those highways have terrible traffic in all lanes and there's not much room to drive around the larger NPC vehicles that always spawn there.

The safe spot to park your car to avoid the Enemy NPCs shooting at it is kind of annoying to reach and it's not safe either.

Only thing it has going for it is the how easy it is to deliver the vehicles by Cargobob if you're going full-speed, but the extra distance and time flying to there is a big risk in case a player decides to f*ck you up.

Also, it's too expensive without a discount.

I'd move to somewhere else, but getting rid of the cars is a hassle and I like that Gone In 60 Seconds nostalgia factor.

If you are heading West, you can take the train tracks North of the island & then take a left turn to get to the storm drain which will take connect you to Rockford Dr ... Avoiding the Elysian highway completely.

If you are heading north to Vinewood lake, you can take the tracks to the first major intersection, then turn left & follow the GPS route across downtown.

As for Martin's ranch, take the tracks East to the tunnel, then to the LS river until you reach Mirror park, climb up from there & follow the GPS.

Alternatively, you can follow this route to hide the car & prepare for the attackers ... There are enough obstacles to protect the car & provide cover for you.

I've had mine since I\E came out & the only thing that kinda bothers me is that if you are sourcing a car without a Cargobob & you are being chased by the SuperVolito, you're a sitting duck on the Elyisan Highway bridge.

^This is why Mesa is a sh*t location!

The two biggest downsides to La Mesa are that everyone owns it (making jackings easier) and that the Vagos are outside, attracted by shooting. If you're doing I/E work solo with a Cargobob, neither will ever be an issue.

I do agree that La Puerta is the best, but La Mesa isn't that far behind and it's significantly cheaper, so there's still a case to be made for it.

I don't do I/E with non-friends in the lobby so La Mesa's perfectly fine for me.

And I'm all about selling the FMJ.

El Burro Heights for me. Hardly anyone has it. Its pretty difficult for people to follow you through the area because once you memorize it, you can lose people who are chasing you really easy. There are certain areas where you can drive over barriers but if the person chasing you doesnt know this, they just crash. I even park the car hop out and get a few kills on a greifer every once in a while. They can't right away tell if you are on top of something or not. And there are so many objects for cover and different paths to take and explosive barrels. Personal air vehicles spawn right in walking distance and it's easy to land the Cargobob. I love it. I also have my crate warehouse in the same area.

I got La Puerta last week and have about 25% full so far. I drove 3 cars and bobbed the rest.

My initial thought is it really sucks for bobbing. You cannot come in from LS fast and drop off, you have to stop straight above it or fly past it and come back. So far i haven't been chased there but I tried to simulate it and it ended badly.

I do like the field across the street but that is minor compared to delivering under pressure.

Bump.  Sorry for bringing stuff up back from the dead. . .

I'm in Elysian now, and I generally take the tracks back to avoid as much as I can.  I pass Murietta and then La Mesa and I'm all disappointed knowing I have forever to go still, and those guys are all finished having a redwood.. . .

I cargobob or just drive sales (I don't own a cargobob often, since I don't own one, but I can pick one up) but I rarely have issues with sales, it always seems sourcing is more difficult and takes the longest and driving clear past these two warehouses sucks.

So, now that it's more old hat, is La Mesa still this neverending campground by you all that own it?  I'm completely undecided between it and MH.  I have practiced from the rails to get to both, and I honestly like the straight shot into La Mesa better than up the ramp and around the corner to Murietta.  But I like both drives more than going all the way down to Elysian.  I'm just nervous it's still as slam packed today as it was a year ago with griefers. . .

If anyone is out there still looking into this.  La Mesa was a tremendous upgrade from Elysian Island.  It's been one of the best moves I've made in the game.  I generally always play solo public lobby though, so I don't know about how many griefers there are on a regular basis still.  So, take that advice with a grain of salt.

Flip side. . . Has anyone owned both La Mesa/La Puerta?  I hear good things.  I may relocate again when I get bored to see how I like that one too, but I was wondering what you all thought.  There's only really highway access to La Puerta.  I love that I have good highway, rail and even access in the viaduct to my current warehouse.  Thanks!

I prefer LSIA west.

Loads of room to 'Bob the car in and out, it's close to some mission points (Del Perro Pier especially), close to Pegasus spawn points, and it's close to all my businesses in the city.

I play solo and use the Cargobob exclusively, unless it's the police chase and we end up fairly near to the city, then I drive it to the warehouse, pick up a new 'Bob ('cause the previous one usually got trashed), and fly the car to the buyer.

I have both on 2 accounts. Love both and not sure i could choose one over the other.

I don't have much problem with people hijacking my s*** at La Mesa but I don't usually source in public lobbies.

I said it multiple times already, but if you sell your export cars in highly populated lobbies, despite not getting more money for doing so, you're simply gambling. People who camp next to your warehouse are not the problem in the age of Broomsticks and orbital cannons. Especially Broomsticks. The truth is, even if there's no one near your warehouse, they may go after you anyways. Either way, you earn 80k$ tops, both in a solo public session, and one that's full of players. If you want to risk, feel free to sell in populated sessions. If you respect your time and in-game money, you won't.

All that being said, I stand at the same position I stood at the end of 2016 - La Mesa is the best warehouse because of its price, easy access to the highway on the east and Fridgit alleyway up north, allowing you to fight off all 4 waves of Sultan aimbots.

It's not cargobob friendly, and more experienced players hates long drives to paleto. La Puerta makes things way easier, for SOURCING and SELLING. time is money (ingame and IRL). also now with Terrorbyte, it has that "undercover" spawn below a bridge, which is super cool. In this game, you should never go most expensive or most cheapest (that rule is only avoidable for farmhouse, there is chumash, but... ). Whoever tries La Puerta, it will see it's benefits. And will never look back at any others. There is no perfect vehicle warehouse, but La Puerta has the least major flaws (La Mesa not being a cargobob friendly is a major flaw for me as a player who exported more than 500 cars)

This is awesome to know.  I'll end up with a second account at some point and end up all West LS based and give this a go.

I've got most of my businesses different on both accounts. It's cool. I have Chumash and Farmhouse but had Zancudo west before that. Maze Bank West and Lombank but moved both to Lombank. La Mesa and La Puerta and loving both. Downtown Vinewood nightclub and La Puerta (I think, it's the one a bit north of the helipad near the beach). Clubhouse near both nightclubs.

My original account is level 320 or so, second is 142. Original has everything and several million in the bank and second has a couple million and only things I need to make money or if I want to grief. It was actually fun bringing up a new account but it's taking me much longer to level up. Been playing since June 2017.

I just moved my bunker from the scrap yard to Chumash because I got tired of going to check in on it and realized half of my car sales are down the street from Chumash. I almost went with the farm house though. I probably will on the second account. I want to try and have all things different it possible. Lombank instead of Arcadius, etc. Play the game differently.

I just moved my second account to Lombank last week. I looked at Arcadius and Maze but the stairs are a PITA. Lombank is high enough to snipe from (even beach goers), there's a wall breach glitch on it, It's still close to my garage and apartment.

No stairs at Arcadius. The entrance is directly across the street from integrity way apartment on street level. I usually park my car next to the corona to go in. Just an fyi. Decent sniper point if you're into that. But I like best that if I exit out into the street, the building is high enough I can still call my buzzard.

Edit: or did you mean stairs to helipad?
