I'm not sure if other people have discovered this yet, but....

One of the steal missions you have to follow a car. Instead of remaining "undetected" you want to fully raise their suspicion. This will cause them to drive at "full" speed to the target car. Makes tailing them a lot easier/quicker.

It also causes enemies to chase you on the way back. I'd rather have no enemies than the car go faster.

So....tell me how they do not chase you. Because every time I get to the car, I have to gun them all down, and get chased regardless.

I've never been chased, unless I spooked the car on the way there. The only enemies I encounter during that mission are the ones at the location. No helicopter or cars spawn to chase. It's smooth sailing after everyone at the location is dead.

If they chase me, I will get less damage than that. So maths says speed up the Kuruma. 😎

I use a cargobob, what chases me really doesn't matter.

I do too, they still send choppers after you.

What the f*ck ? i was delivering a car to my warehouse, suddenly everyone left the session and my car catch on fire

Alas another old bug that Rockstar have decided not to bother fixing, perhaps if you could find a way for it to make you vast sums of money quickly and then post it on Youtube.

Gave up on a delivery mission today simply because I was so bored with the AI, you're doing 100mph, weaving through the NPC traffic that's gone full retard, they are in a chopper shooting you with machine guns and oh what a shock they are 100% accurate with every shot they make. It's tedious, like everything in the game, Rockstar did enough with the AI to make it barely functional and thought f*ck it that'll do.

Killer Whale

Perfect! F*****g perfect!! I was selling a 3-car collection with some friends (X-80, T20, Osiris) to the house where the Wet Work setup takes place from the Cypress Flats garage. When we're near, me and a friend still have 12 minutes on the clock, but the other friend tells me he has less than 20 seconds to deliver the car. As he enters the driveway, the car engulfs in flames. I could still deliver the other two cars, but I lost $160,000 out of $480,000 (I believe). Yet Rockstar feels they should overmonetize us for a game like this.

Sorry if this quickly turned into B&M, but I've never heard of something like this in this exact situation.

So i was just on my way to delivering an 811...and the car just randomly exploded as i drove down the street.

Wtf?!?!?

Was an empty session, but had been in it for over an hour and delivered several other cars without issue....

I just bought the i/e warehouse last week...and didnt realize that vehicle sales were double $$...since i had never done them before..

Man, did i get spoiled thinking could make a quick 160k profit every time i sourced a high end vehicle. *sigh *

What's the best tactic for exporting/selling in a solo session? I always park on the bridge, then deal with the NPC's, but almost always die at least once...

Had a Reaper to pick up by the hotel just north of Lombank, got in to discover a bomb. Not too worried because it's easy to maintain speed. But for reasons unknown, the car was frozen in place. I couldn't accelerate at all, or anything else except explode. Has anyone else experienced this?

Cargobob, park on warehouse roof, hook the car, fly about the same height as IAA building.

But I prefer driving, don't like flying the Cargobob. What is the best route to take in that case?

You can consider getting a Turreted Limo. When using a Cargobob bores me I use the Limo.

Are NPCs that common when exporting? I'm fairly new to I/E but have sold about 60 top range cars, and have only had NPCs once (I think it was an ETR1) - yet everyone else seems to get them all the time?

It depends on your session. If you're by yourself, then AI enemies will spawn. If at least one person who isn't part of your organisation is in the session, the AI will not spawn.

I don't own a Cargobob, but I can find one at Sandy Shores, or Grapeseed. Not too far from the lighthouse, or closer, Mountain View drive. The Paleto Cove one is farther away though.

Yesterday I did 8 deliveries, of which 4 were to Devin Weston's shack. Does he have some sort of fetish for chromed out cars with bullet holes? What gives? :p

APC>Weaponized Tampa>Half Track>Turreted Limo for destroying the 4 pairs of Sultan NPCs. Seriously the Tampa's guns are vicious, but the APC has that extra protection. Use the Tampa's C pillars to protect a bit from npc gunfire if using that though.

No Use For A Name

Ran across a new location for the Locate Car Using The Photo source mission: next to the Cluckin Bell chicken in Paleto Bay

APC is good for sultans chasing you, but not that good if you are trying to take down the enemies before you even sourced the car (a Warlord mission or some Little Seoul guys).

Anything except Tampa can potentially scratch the car. Tampa miniguns are like scalpels in right hands.

So far I've stolen around 900 cars & I've never had this location in a 'pink slip bet' mission. I also never had the LSIA location in a 'laps around a closed circuit' mission. It doesn't make sense that I've done so many steal missions & yet I've never experienced certain variations of the missions.

I've never had the LSIA circuit either, but seeing as I have the LSIA warehouse, that makes sense. The game isn't going to give me a sourcing mission that close to my warehouse! Not sure why you wouldn't have had that race yet (it starts at the casino/race track, in case you might have had it before and simply forgot).

The other day I had a location for the photo search mission that I had never had before, so it is possible there's just been some "bad" luck involved, and there are some in the pool for people they just haven't ever had, even after all this time.
