Headhunter and Sightseer are good for earning $20,000-$24,000 in 3-8 minutes (but have a cooldown timers)

Each (top end) car stolen, modified, and sold is $80,000, or $100,000 right now.

You could steal, headhunter, sell, steal, sightseer, sell and in less than an hour you are realistically looking at $190,000-$250,000

If you have 3 top range cars in your garage you can make in excess of 400k in under an hour...out of curiosity I took the minutes on an hour run to see how much I could make...

Top Range Car - 80k

3 Crate fetch - 42k

Head Hunter - 21k

3 Crate fetch - 42k

Top Range Car #2 - 80k

3 Crate fetch -42k

Head Hunter - 21k

3 Crate fetch - 42k

Top Range Car #3 - 80k

Head Hunter - 20.5k (completed at 57 minutes)

Grand total = 470.5k

By completing your first car sale within the first 6 minutes of your session (in my timed run I completed it at 5:13) you should be able to sell your next car at 26 minutes and the following car by the 50 minute mark. Those three sales alone will give you 240k. Adding an extra 200k in random sh*t between cool down is pretty easy.

So you're fetching crates but not actually selling them, so you technically didn't make that money yet. Those are profits that can still be lost in a delivery mishap, connection drop, or who knows what else.

If you're selling in a public lobby that's your own ignorance, all other circumstance are easily doable solo and without issue. If you do mange to fail, a hard quit penalizes you 3 crates and you get another go with a likely easier run...

That said...you don't HAVE to do as I did, just pointing out the very real ability to exceed 400k an hour with car sales and crate fetches. I sell a full warehouse maybe once a week at best...I'm quite tired of fetching if I'm honest...but the point remains, the selling of top range cars coupled with crate fetches during cool downs is highly profitable and can surpass 400k an hour.

Has anyone managed to get the Top Speed yellow T20 with no damage? For me, both times it spawned as a 'traffic stop' with two cops, and each time it was already missing the driver's side door when I arrived. So that's $4000 right away.

It spawns with the door open and the cops addressing the driver at the side of the road. However, because the car is close ot the traffic, NPC cars can drive past and take the door clean off.

Glad it wasn't just me who had this problem with the T20 (and Stirling GT recently). It happen when the mission have the car door open, such as routine police stop, or the crime scene.

I'm sure the traffic don't take out the door of the car in an alley... and it happen every time. :p

We have all benefited from the 10 standard, 10 mid range technique and the 32 car technique.

The only question remaining is, after being able to selectively source the cars that we want repeatedly (and sell them repeatedly as well). Will Rockstar consider this an exploit? Will they change
the algorithm in such a way that we won't be able to intentionally source out the missing cars?

Missing doors happen a lot for me, I thought it was due to using the bob to collect all cars. Recently I've landed first, got out, done the killing, got in the car, closed the door, got out, making sure the door was closed, then picking up the car. No more $2500-4000 repair costs for a missing door.

Crime scene, the door is almost always missing when I get there, I guess it's just one of them things. So you make $95,000 rather than $100,000 on that car, it's insignificant.

The inconsistency is what makes me laugh though. You don't damage that door but get the bill for it yet you can slam into a car in a bob and not pay a thing in damage...

With so many pages to the thread, I'm not sure if it's been done already (I wasn't sure exactly what to search, but what I did didn't turn anything up, and I've been without a computer for the last week, so I haven't been able to keep up with posts). I've been taking screenshots when I get the vehicle source missions where you get a photo and have to find the car.

If it helps anyone, the ones that I've had thus far (forgive the fact a couple of these were at night):

Del Perro Beach:

GWC and Golfing Society:

Vinewood Hills:

Legion Square:

Paleto Bay:

Paleto Forest:

Paleto Forest:

Grand Senora Desert:

Ron Alternates Wind Farm:

Thank you, but could you please put the pictures into spoilers?

My friend has had the T20 missing door happens also several times. I've had the car meet Osiris where the back end engine cover is missing completely twice so far.

Especially at the crime scenes, open doors and dead bodies don't mix well.

I mean, have you ever hit a dead body with an open car door? It doesn't fall off, all I'm gonna say.

I tried to slam a door on a corpse once: there was an amusing spray of blood and the door fell off.

I'm talking about in game, of course.

Any tactics for getting those last few cars? Going crazy here and only getting ones I don't want.

How'd it go?

All completed thanks! Had one of every car in the warehouse and sold the non-collection vehicles one by one; next sourcing mission guaranteed the same type as a replacement. Now for char 2!

Sorry if this has been asked before. I'm new with this I/E stuff and I haven't had time to read through the whole thread.

I'm considering buying a Cargobob after seeing people say it's the easier way to avoid damage from NPCs, I just wanted to be sure before I buy one if there's any difference between the two available other than the colour?

Also, from what I understand, the hook only drops cars if you're in a lobby with other people, right? I'm generally in a lobby on my own, so if that theory stands, I should be ok with using the Cargobob for steals and sells?

Thanks. :)

It can drop in a solo lobby, it's rare but I have had it happen a couple of times in over 200 pickups. If it does drop just destroy the car and get a new one.

My top range cars were still selling for $125k last night, and engine mods were still discounted. Yet I also have access to the Benny upgrade discounts and all the other things in the current event. I wonder how long that will stick.

If you go off-radar during steals and sells, does your car/cargo still show up on mini-map?

Yep, save your money you're not fooling anyone.

For some crazy reason I'm not able to sell a Stirling GT | M4J3ST1C to the specialist dealer.

When I'm customizing the car I get stuck in this, it tells me to go change the color even though I have already, and it doesnt let me scroll back to it.

Tried 3 times and had the same issue, even though I sold this car before in the past, twice actually.

Anyone found a way to do the auto meet and the photo shoots without triggering the chase waves?

Also the snipe from a distance thing on the police chases does work, 0 damage.

´No, and the game does not give a hint that it is possible. Same for the Cargo Bob and Time Trial missions. (On a 4 min time trial I came in in a time of 3 min and hopped it helps if your are that fast, but nope, they are always comming. Leaving you only the fight option, since you don't have a bob to escape it.)

The only thought I had was calling the cops on the race meet. No go.

The one on Vinewood blvd just drive straight to the parking lot where pack std hack mission is. Plenty of safe places to park.

If you have a buddy with a 'Bob, they can pick up the car from the Race Meet and the AI will not trigger.

With the time trial/point to point race one you can fly your Cargobob into the race end location and then go back and do the race.

Timewise probably similar to fighting the enemies? (Assuming you use CEO Buzzard to get back to race start)

Having a (not-hired) buddy is actually really useful full stop, they can go around murdering warlord bodyguards with the flare gun without consequence and so on.

Pro-tip - the guy on the diving board :pirate:

Also, if it's working for you, don't forget you can stand a bodyguard on the cargobob pontoons without them falling (just behind the jet nozzles), you just need a ledge or car to get there. Cargobob with homing launcher(s)!

GY The Gaming Mastermi

if anyone is asking how to bypass cooldown time after selling cars in import/export, well you can do this: [for ps4]

all you have to do is suspend your application after selling a car and then go back to gta v and accept the error and you will join a new session and won't have any cooldown time.

The best way to do this is by going out of your warehouse and setting your spawn location to last location.
once you did that you can suspend your application by either trimming a video clip or by opening youtube.
then go back to gta v you should have an error message, accept it and you should be joining a new seesion and it should spawn you next to your warehouse and won't have any cooldown time.
for more details check the video down below (in the spoiler)

This is really weird. I now get cops each time I arrive on scene to steal a car. 2 stars just by triggering the checkpoint or coming near a car/getting spotted by NPCs. I don`t recall getting cops before on each and every source mission.
