If I want to trade warehouses, does my warehouse have to be empty?

The guy who said you get 50% (I think) of your current warehouse price off of the price of the one you move to said the cars all transfer.

At least you've science'd it now. We no longer have to go on hearsay. And thank goodness you didn't lose all your vehicles trying.

Don't feed the troll, DemonicSpaceman;)

Yeah, my bad, posted before I read back through previous posts

Whoever is living in this house... Where the hell does he/she store all the cars? :)

gta-v-pc-mansion.jpg

Anyone else keeps getting this as the delivery point? I have it constantly. 3 out of my last 4 sales were here.

Isn't that the guy you need to pop in Prison Break heist? (Edit: I really should read before posting...) Seems like such a shame to do Prison Break now if it is, that dude has paid me well over a million clams already...

Right, several pages later..

Briefly coming back to the mission where you steal a car from one of two barges on the water. Brahmabull mentioned the price you pay for setting down the car and taking out the Buzzards. Easiest way is indeed a very expensive way when you're on foot, using explosives. But we shouldn't forget that we're doing this as CEO's and that (when bought) we can spawn a Buzzard for free!

Consider flying your Cargobob to the location you'll be dropping off the car. Then spawn your CEO Buzzard and put it somewhere relatively safe. For me that'd usually be under a bridge unless it's near (what I'll call it for now) Avi's island. The Buzzard costs nothing to spawn anymore so you can take out all the enemies for free.

I haven't tried it myself yet, but it might be safer. Who knows. I'm not sure how deadly accurate they are when shooting airborne targets.

What I do when I get that barge with no island next to it is I call in a Merryweather support chopper. Then fly around the barges until they take out all the enemies. Grab the car, fly straight up until I'm up to ~4,000 ft, then head to the drop off. The buzzards spawn at a much lower altitude, so doing this gives you a decent amount of distance between them.

I've been able to snipe the guys on the barges from the grassy mound next to the freeway layby the last few times I've had that location, as it's also the only barge scenario whithout any shipping containers on board.

This could be a stupid question but here goes...

How do you save the money you make from this? I play it solo and when i've had enough and I want to turn my console off it usually doesn't save my last selling mission...how do you save your progress?

Exit to single player or creator before turning off your console. I usually load up creator 'cause it's a faster transition than back to single player.

All this does is forces the game to save progress before loading up SP/creator.

Said like a man who lost character progression in 2013.

I do the same. My crew question it "why bother, it saves anyway" - then question why the money they put in the bank before logging off is in their pockets when they log on.

It's always safer to force a save before exiting. I always hit story (hold down on the d-pad, select T, F or M and confirm) but thanks for the creator hint, I hadn't thought of that.

Another way is to change any type of clothing or accessory. It will save 2 seconds later. If you do this outside Benny's you'll also spawn right outside again if you regret doing something at Benny's and quit the game before leaving the shop. The game doesn't save untill you leave the shop. Edited by C64fanatic

Once I got a Coquette Blackfin and it was at the dam. It was the one where had to defuse the bomb. I got it again today but no bomb this time.

So unlike crates where experienced CEO's can tell what BS they going to have to do just by looking at the location of crates of the map this skill may not apply here with cargo vehicles

It is really only the parked cars with or without bombs that you can not tell beforehand. Your assistant usually tells you correctly what you have to expect, but there are four different kinds of "parked car" that he/she can not tell apart:

1. and 2. parked car with/without bomb: those are virtually identical until you get into the car.

3. parked car with security detail: I am not 100% sure yet, but this seems to happen at a few select houses only that are different from 1. and 2.

4. stolen car and police chase: You can easily tell by location (E of Kortz Center, NW of Harmony, W of quarry off the top of my head). Basically if the location seems to be on a road rather than in front of a house where an expensive car could be you have a police chase.

This is probably a no brainer and I might have missed it has it ben mentioned in this topic but:

The range of the car you're stealing will affect how many wanted stars you get should you get a wanted level.

Here's a list of locations I encountered so far (as 'undisclosed' with pic of location):

Paleto Forest Sawmill
'Beam Me Up' murals site (east of Sandy Shores)
Two Hoots Falls in Tongva Valley (waterfall with a statue of an owl just off Route 11, you'll see a dirt road leading to it)
Yellow Jack Bar parking lot

I know it's probably not cost effective, but I want to have a garage full of only top range cars. Is that possible? I sell any standard range car, but the mid range can stay so far.

You can try to do so by only ever selling the top range cars, seems to me this won't prevent it giving you low and mid range ones to steal but I seem to get more high end ones to replace the ones I've sold.

Nice. Good to have options there. I've literally never callled for merryweather support but if it's not too expensive it might be a pretty decent middle ground option between quickly shooting down the buzzards from the ground or taking extra time with your own buzzard.

So what's the fastest way of quitting out of the Cargobob missions without having to find a new session?

oh man I HATE the cargobob mission ! I hate that lame helicopter ! add to that those OP NPCs & some lame GTA physics , and you´ll find yourself screaming and cursing ( like I did today -twice- )

I destroyed the cars and swore never to buy that thing called cargobob ( hope the jetsam is more agile at least )

This is 26 pages now and I don't want to wade through it all.

How much do your crew mates get if they help you sell cars?

Link to comment

Don't know if it were mentioned or not so I will post it. This is only my experience based on 3 days grinding cars. After these 3 days I figured out that if you playing solo in public 99% of the time needed car will be placed as far as it only can be. But once there's at least one more person in a session (preferably the person need be on another side of map of your warehouse) 99% of the time you will get mission checkpoint close to your location.

On the other hand if there are over 5 people 50/50 you will get mission cp in china.

$5000-10000, unless you sell a collection, in which case they get that and the bonus amount for the collection.
