If you're feeling brave, use a floating cargobob to snipe from. Or do they sink with no pilot? You could always bring along a mate in a dodo.

 

If you have a mate, park a car next to the Cargobob and get them to climb onto the pontoon. They can stand without falling (and obviously use all guns) at the back, by the engine. Fly fairly level though. Two mates and you've got yourself a badass 'bob.

For the pickup where it's not next to any land, I just leave my 'bob on the mainland, take a CEO buzzard to clear the barge without the car on, and anyone a safe distance from the target car on the other barge. Land and clear the last guy manually if you have to. then get back to the 'bob.

I hear a lot of ire going on about the "Defuse the Bomb" mission. I hate being that guy, but I think that's one of my favourites when doing solo. No NPCs, no cops, and you can set your waypoint to your vehicle warehouse and cruise home at a steady pace.

 

Heck, sometimes the bomb was defused right before I drove into the warehouse. Keep it steady and keep the cool. Panic is the road to destruction.

 

The cars I've gotten it with have been the Tampa, Mamba and Nightshade. Is it stuck to slidy vehicles?

 

Also, I can understand this mission being a pain with warzones around, if that's the issue.

I had a Feltzer and Rapid GT so not exactly slidey vehicles.

Yes, you do need assistants. One driver for each car. It's kind of worth it. The collection bonus isn't that much, but you still earn more by selling multiple cars at once. If you prefer doing it solo and don't have anyone trustworthy to do it with, then it probably isn't worth it.

 

 

 

Question: I bought the cheapest warehouse. If I buy a more expensive one somewhere, will I get a trade in discount like with garages and apartments?

For deliveries(solo), I park my tank at the enemy spawn/trigger point, about 2 blocks from my WH. I quickly park my cargo-veek on the sidewalk just behind/to the right of the tank. I jump in tank, absorbing the fire my cargo would and then blast each enemy 'til they stop coming. Sometimes, they spawn behind and take cover behind my cargo...hehe they think I'm stupd. I just hop out with MR and bing!...I'm on my way with 8 mins left and no more than 6-8 hundred dollar loss. My tank sat there for hours yesterday(my session was empty). A $200 Pegasus charge and 1.5 million dollars in my bank. \m/

 

BTW, RE: Cargobob lifts...I had 3 cars randomly unhook themselves and fall to an 18-21 grand repair cost..Anyone else experience this?

No...plus, all my keys are custom bound. I wonder if R* nerfed the hook in CEO some way..I do this thing in freemode I call 'NPC Wrangling' where I designate the top of a building as the 'corral' and hook/lift them up and onto the building...never had a car drop...even the cop cars.

PC certainly seems to have some bugs with this update, like the 'bob dropping cars. Only done a handful of pickups & sales on PC and encountered it once. On PS4 I've stolen almost 90 vehicels and exported over 50, all with the cargobob where possible. Never had one drop.

yes. They make U-turns in front of you while you're going 100mph trying to pass them. But it could be worst. Worst like it was driving on Broker bridge in GTA 4 where the cars would constantly change lanes..

Does anyone know if the selling cool down applies across characters?

Nah I'm too sh*t with those guns. I just rocket the people on the barge the car isn't on, and anyone on the other barge if they're not near the car. then land on the clear barge and take out the last guy on the other barge myself. However, (and I don't know how many of these barge scenarios there are, but at least 3) I just did the one where there's no islands nearby south of Zancudo. I was able to snipe ALL the guys on both barges from the mound of grass near the big layby.

I've only gotten it twice. One time was with a Tyrus. First time I was driving that car too!

To be safe I wasn't playing with the speed, getting it around the mid level. I just went for the long, winding roads in the city down to Terminal and back up north while waiting for the bomb to be defused. Certainly not as scary as it would have been like the bus from Speed.

As for the VIP mission for the aqua technical i can't get any information about it. In the patch notes it say that that mission is for 1-4 people but when i try to choose it i get the message that i don't have enough associates.

 

I believe the special vehicle missions are all 2-4 players.
