So I just got a picture of the car, no map location. It is my understanding that I have to use a police helicopter to locate it? Where would I find one of those? I checked the police station in the NE part of the city.

Those kind of quests come with a picture that you can identify the place as a hint, landmarks other notable references. No, this was not a landmark. I have gotten several of those. This was a generic pic of the car in a parking lot next to a wall. The same type of pic they send you everytime aside from the landmark steals.

No other instructions other than "Steal the Vehicle". I missed what the assistant said, so idk if she mentioned the helicopter.

And like I said, the heli down the street from Pac Standard wasn't there.

Can you sell a collection AND mod the vehicles? Game did give me those three options..

Making the bonus rather worthless.

Quick question, sorry if it has been asked.

Lowest entry cost to vehicle cargo is 1.5 mill

Lowest entry cost for MC work... IDK.

Is vehicle cargo more profitable than MC coke business?

That is yet to be determined but the MC business requires upgrades to make them good and then they cost close to 3 million.

The upgrades only cost close to 3 million?

And how fast can I make back that 3 mill ++ with fully upgraded coke thing

The purchase of the facility AND upgrades costs about 3 million in total. And coke produces 420k worth of coke every 5 hours. Then you have to spend time getting supplies but once you have filled it with supplies you can do other missions or heists or whatever and it will keep producing untill it runs out of supplies. Coke will use it's supplies in about 2 hours.

whats a collection sale?? Is it just vehicles or some rare one that you get a sh*t ton of money?

At the top of the export screen there is a tab to see what collections there are. It will be a certain set of 4 cars that a client wants and will reward you far better for it. Although you have to keep acquiring cars til you get the correct set of cars to sell at the same time.

Well not always 4 cars. Some collections are 2 and 3 cars.Yeah, missed that, there are some with only 2 or 3 cars but the bonus for those is peanuts compared to the 4 car sales.

Peanuts might be a little harsh. I think it's 20k, 35k and 50k. So 35k for one car less is ok in my book. Especially since your helpers get the bonus too.

Speaking of collections, do all have the same collections available? And when having sold one collection does it give you a new one or do you get to collect the exact same cars again?

After spending the first couple of days packing my vehicle warehouse full I'm really enjoying the supplemental income it brings. I think this is where the update truly shines. I love the fact that I can break up the crate grind with a couple of different options and still pull in about 400k - 500k an hour. I hate crate grinding like the next person but now I can run a couple of crates, sell some cars, sell some coke, maybe run a few more crates, steal a car or two for fun and still be making money hand over fist without being "bored". I do buy my biker business supplies since fetching those has a nasty habit of making you drive a slow vehicle across the map...

I stopped selling Standard Vehicles. Once there's a certain number in your warehouse they stop being given to you when you source a vehicle. That way I'm only ever stealing and selling Mid or top end cars.

It's only really effective for solo play though 'cause collections are probably better money.

Does anyone know if the sell timer resets when you join a new session or pauses when you do other CEO work?

I've joined new sessions a few times and found it was reset from five to eighteen minutes. Would like to know if anyone else has seen this.

Definitely seems to either pause or reset to me. A couple of times after selling, I exited to creator or turned off my PS4, and when I came back 30 mins to 3 hours later, the timer was still at 18 or 19 minutes.

Posted this in another thread, but I think it belongs in this one too.

My experience the last two days:

1. Profit when selling with one associate is split 60/40. I am not sure whether there is a way of changing this setting when setting up the delivery, but I am hopeful that there is. In my case, my buddy was helping me lift them and sell them, so I don't mind giving him a good cut.

2. Profit when selling with two associates is odd, we sold three high end vehicles, and I got $ 100K, 60K then 92 K. The associates got 40, and 8 K. Again, hopefully there is a way to manage that.

Also, when you go to the computer in the garage, push RB to go to the collections Tab. There you will find groupings of cars that can be sold to customers wanting all of them. I have not been playing with associates, been grinding by myself, but when I clicked on one once I got them full, I am pretty sure that it indicated that you get a bonus for each car. I am not sure whether this will go to the player or the associate making the delivery, another thing I would like to test.

My inner nerd would also like feedback on whether the cars for the collections are similar for all users.

Here are the groups as I see them:

20K Bonuses:

1a. Blackfin; V1NT4G3

2a. Nightshade; TH37OS

1b. ZType; B1GMON3Y

2b. Valor; OLDT1M3R

35K Bonuses:

1a. X80; M4KEB4NK

1b. T20; D3VIL

1c. Osiris; SL33K

2a. Feltzer; POW3RFUL

2b. 811; SL1CK

2c. Bestia; B34STY

3a. Sabre Turbo; BOUNC3

3b. Tampa; CH4RG3D

3c. Mamba; BLKM4MB4

4a. Coquette Classic; TOPL355

4b. Verlierer; PR3C1OUS

4c. ETRI; PR3TTY

50K Bonuses:

1a. Cheetah; BUZZ3D

1b. Tyrus; C1TRUS

1c. FMJ; C4TCHM3

1d. Entity; OV3RFLOD

2a. Alpha; V1S1ON4RY

2b. Reaper; DEATH4U

2c. Massacro; BO55

2d. Zentorno; W1NN1NG

3a. Omnis; W1D3BOD

3b. Rallye; 1985

3c. Jester; NOFOOL

3d. Sultan; SNOWFLK3

4a. Banshee; DR1FT3R

4b. Stirlying; R4LLY

4c. Seven 70; ALLOYS

4d. Turismo; TPDAWG

Also, helpful hint, if you have one of the above models with a different license plate than is needed for the collection, go ahead and export it, then proceed back to the office to start a search, and 4 times out of 5, the collection vehicle popped up.

Hope this helps, I will update as I learn more. If anyone wants to help me further figure out the deets on these vehicles and the payouts and bonuses, message me. Same if you need help with the cargobob/buzzard missions. I thought I had that damn thing figured out until they had the barges out in the ocean far away from an island.

I wish the collection cars were tagged on the main screen; I'm sick of having to go into "collection" to remind myself which ones I should hold onto.

c&p > print that post. That's why I wrote it down. Let me know if the license plates are the same for you as for me. I wish I could have my executive assistant make me an excel spreadsheet. I don't know what I pay her for other than snacks.

I'd say so. I've only spent a few hours stealing and selling vehicles and I've already made like $700k. It's both faster and more fun than doing those supply runs and then waiting and then driving super slow delivery vehicles.

Since the release of the update, did play 3 times.

First time was to buy the new garages in office, and the new wharehouse.

The other two times was to do vehicle cargo sells. About 1.2 millions in vehicle sells, not to bad, and the missions are very good. (all the sells was solo).

Soooo am I the only one with FREE everything when I mod cars for sale? I've never paid a dollar as far as I could tell, and I was watching. Does it take it elsewhere?

No everyone has it. When you choose the buyer you pay a price for modding the car ( painted red )

sold my first collection today , the Fading Power collection( BlackFin & Nightshade ) , me and my associate spawned with the cars outside without tuning them , which is weird , usually you mod them then you spawn outside. I got my 100k at the end though . but he only recieved 22k ... lobby was ok ( 10 players or more ) , no other bonuses (other than the 20k collection bonus ) ... those payments man ....

btw , in order to export the cars , your associates should be INSIDE the warehouse ... not just standing outside or something ....

the number of CEO associate is limited to 3 , no more ( was it always like that ? )

ah yeah , now I get a pop up message on the top left telling me explicitly that the difficulty of the missions depends on the vehicle´s range .....

Non Funkable Token

You pay the mod fee then you can apply whatever you want. Chrome paint and sh*t like that.

What is the point when you're not even keeping the car? It just wastes time, especially if you do it to every car before delivery. Would be so much better if it just slapped some random/preset mods on (it is supposed to be to the buyer's specification) that you didn't have to physically choose.

And sorry if I missed it, it's not in the OP;

I stole a Top Range car (x80) from someone, and had to take it to the cops for 5k (peanuts)

What happens if you steal lower-end cars? You can store them yourself?

I like it. Only done a few sales but it gave me the opportunity to try differnt looks on cars i already own and test out what is available on cars i don't own yet.

I have problem with this fking timer. My example:

sold 1 car, must be 10 min timer, then i delivered one car to warehouse, checked timer - 9.59 and it's started. WTF? It should be about 2-3 mins.... Sometimes i sell 3-4 cars with friends, then log out. Next day: wait 30 min. OMG.

LOVE TIMERS

Mine follows me even when I turn the console off. Like, the next time I turn on the timer's still going down.

Wtf is the point in modding the cars? It doesn't matter if you add the best upgrades or put the minimum its still the same commission pay so why is R* asking us to mod the cars? It would make sense if the client wants specific mods and we have to pay for them but its not like that. Why am I being asked to waste time doing this?

Were you registered as a CEO? Isn't it so that you have the option to store it if you are a CEO, otherwise it gives you the police station option?

BTW: if you guys want to help a friend and vice versa, don't be in their organisation, but take the car and take it to the warehouse for the friend to store it. This way you won't be getting AI enemies that damage the car.

You won't get paid but if you switch it will even out on lower car damages.

A tip for everyone: Cargobob is god!

I had a Roosevelt Valor today. Picked it up with a Cargobob then (after modifying it) sold it via Cargobob.

Total cost of damage: $62 (one bullet hole). Profit on the endeavor: $79,938 (minus some minigun ammo)

Has anyone else noticed that at least some of these cars you steal look like they were customized by GiantsGiants? Red-over-black Valor with red underlights and giant "Atomic" badged tires. (Puke-emoji)

This is what irks me a lot. When I sell cars, I do my best to make them look stock again. M y mission is to take cars ruined by people, making them look decent, and sell them to people with taste.

I guess that's why those Blue Sultan RS guys rush to you and shoot their guns every time you sell.

Hehe for me its the exact opposite; everything I sell is a Chrome Primary eyesore with a tweaked front bumper because those are the first items on the list as I click my way through as fast as I can. Time is money and as long as the buyer's cash is good, I couldn't care less whether or not their taste is. XD
