The sell prices are garbage! I love the game and the content but I'm sorry, selling rides that are worth Millions should net you at least a quarter of their value on black market.

Considering how easy and quick they are to do, the money is totally fair. If I properly try I could get like $1million in an hour or so
Considering you can only sell 1 car, max 80k profit, every 20 minutes, you can't possibly make 1 million in an hour. Stop lying.

I wasn't lying, I was ill informed. I didn't know the Cooldown was as as 20 minutes, but even at that you can still make a fair amount in a somewhat short amount of time. I can't see how people can argue with proper businesses in the game that make you a lot of money

Also, you can sell 5 cars at a time, so technically yes I can make a mill in an hour. Maybe not solo, but still possible

Two long posts of mine basically explained what I thought COULD be your thought process behind the statement. One important detail being that you're not going to get to or near a million without help from up to three other players. You're limited to selling one car at a time PER person in your organisation. That's the limit we were dealing with, anyway.

How are you managing to sell five cars at once when you can only have one CEO and three associates in the group? Even the collections are limited to four max.

EDIT: Funny thing is, it sounds like you haven't done much or know much about it possibly. Yet you weren't far off from the truth (or at all depending on the calculation, in fact - considering details like wether or not you're factoring in expenses before the sales) with your statement in your earlier post.

I've been playing the dlc alot. Basicly it's better to just sell the cars. At least for now, because I've tried saving them, but a bug is making so that they don't show up in the collections lists, and I know I did it right. So in between the cool down, you do the other ceo stuff. Keep tabs on your mc work. All together it's pretty profitable over time, and with grinding. It's diverse and well thought out when looking at the whole picture instead of just one dlc content package. It's a slow grind to the top, but once your there, the money rolls in. Now I just need to get ppl together so I can sit in my office pushing out missions while my ppl go run them. Would be the most profitable thing to do.

Can confirm that you can't start up a collection sale on your own. You need the at least the same amount of players as cars you're selling.

More f*ckery of the solo players then. Great :/You know Rockstar has given more to solo players in the past few updates then ever before. You had to play with randoms back when contact missions and heists were the only real ways to make money. Then VIP came along with solo friendly missions. Now we have crates and cars that can all be sold solo for considerable profit.

Imo selling cars one by one still keeps crates relevant for me since I need something to do in the cooldown time.

How do you expect to fly three buzzards at once?

You don't. You do so one by one.

Ofcourse you can ask the same question for postal vans, garbage trucks, bagger motorcycles or literally any other type of vehicle.

EDIT: And let's not forget that plenty of vehicles exist that are made for one reason and one reason only: to transport things in bulk. Sometimes, multiple vehicles.

Oh. I suppose. Idk I have never done that except with regular cargo. Not going back and forth. Too grindy.

Point taken though.

No I didn't; not for the vast majority of them.

This.

Sometimes I praise stuff; sometimes I don't. There are ups; there are downs. Missing out on the bonuses is a down, in my opinion.

No need to take over the thread with it.

They should've given us an armoured version of the car carrying truck from that story mode mission. I mean it's not unrealistic for a car seller to load three or four cars onto a truck to take to a buyer Edited by Punker104

You really did not have to play with randumbs back when missions where the main way of making serious money, there are/were plenty of mission that you could do solo.

Yeah, practically all of them! I'm not going to look through the full list right now to make a point about it to Shneb, but for the life of me I can't recall any regular contact mission that cannot be done solo either from the start or when all your teammates have died, left or gone idle.

Maybe a handful of them

Possibly, yeah. But all the missions I can think of right now are do-able solo. Maybe some would take a little longer. Landing Gear for example (if I don't have the name mixed up with another one). If you're being really safe you have to enter a velum and then immediately get out and get into a buzzard if you want to take down the enemy buzzards before flying back to the city.

But most missions are pretty darn easy if you have the right tools. A super or armoured car, a buzzard or if need be even hydra/savage. Couple of explosives. A gun. Eyes. Fingers. All that.

Does anyone know if your office garage is accessible during heists? Specifically the Pac Stan.

Ok so i just read through all 11 pages and if i have missed the answer to the following question then i'm sorry.

I have only done about 6 steal vehicle missions and sold one but does anyone know what the difference is between the 3 sell types? Has it something to do with distance or resistance?

As far as I know the ones that sell for more requires to pay for modifications. So theres more to lose if the sale goes wrong. Not sure about difficulty

The 3rd selling option has like five waves I believe it is of attackers in pairs

Yes. The more you sell it for, the more it costs to mod the vehicle before you can sell it. There is definitely a higher difficulty level to complete the sale too. The AI that try to kill you are f*cking insane on the hardest one. Plus I THINK you have to take the vehicle to a destination that is further away than the others.

Wow, fast answers. Thank you all. Maybe i will do some experimenting when i get home.

By the way does it seem like selling a top end car will meet more resistance than a standard car? Or is it only the 3 sell types that determine that?

I don't know the answer to that question, but I just want to say that if you have access to an empty session, and you have a Cargobob, then going for the highest selling price/difficulty is a no-brainer. I've yet to come across one I can't do with the 'Bob. Just gain a load of altitude, and you'll be safe from the AI.

*Only with a 'Bob though, and an empty session.

It's quite obvious, that there is absolutely no reason to sell any car or collection of cars at anything below that specialist buyer stiff right? Or am I missing something important?

I will try that. I use the ps4 trick to get an empty lobby.

The 3rd selling option has like five waves I believe it is of attackers in pairsIt was six waves of 2 or 3 vehicles, each. Bikes had one NPC and cars each had two. They have anti-traffic skills, superior aim, and the random traffic will do what they can to mess you up and damage your car. Once you think they are all dead and gone, you'll drive a mile or so and more will start chasing you.

It's worth the extra money for double (+/-) the sales value, but it's not a cakewalk (unless you can do well with a Cargobob)

No, you are quite right. You invest a bit more but the payoff is double.

But as some mentioned there is more resistance and if you get the car destroyed then you actually lose money. I think i will do the highest paying ones too but it's nice to know all the facts. I'm guessing the cooldown period is the same for all sell types.

There was no AI during my 5 selling missions and they were done in less than 5 minutes.

The resistance is determined on where and when you are doing a sale. If you're referring solely to NPC resistance it's simply 2 Sultans that can easily be avoided and out drove if you have any driving ability above that of a blind man.

And yes the cooldown is the same.
