nekomaster
I got a High Def Texture mod for GTA San Andreas which looks nice but I don't like what the author did for the Weapon Icons in the GTA3.IMG. They basically took the GTA 4 icons and they're too long and get squished in GTA SA Now I imagine that style of icon is ment to be used with some HUD mod, but I prefer the original GTA SA style of HUD and switching weapons so I'd rather have icons that fit properly.Thing is when I try to edit the GTA3.IMG file in my GTA San Andreas "Model" folder, all the IMG editors I use fail to save/rebuild properly and usually screw up the IMG file.I've used Alci's Image Editor, IMG Editor 2.0, and a japanese program called GimgIO. Alci won't rebuild, it gives me an error IMG Editor 2.0 freezes/hangs up on saving/rebuilding GimgIO just strait up crashes Is there anyway for me to edit/import files into a Large IMG file? I really would like to replace those weapon icons.

nekomaster
I had no idea mod loader was that easy to set up and use. I heard it mentioned before but didn't bother with it because hey, when your use to doing things a certain way for a long time, you might doubt the reliability of other methods. well now my gta3.img has been reverted to its original state and I'm using modloader to load up new stuff like weapon replacements.
