Grand Theft Auto 3 Beta/Cut songs

Recommended Posts

There is not as many Gta 3 cut songs from the beta as i thought, but here are a few of them.

Derrick May-Kaotic Harmony (Featured in the very first trailer) Gta 3 Trailer #1 -

Marydancin-Wash Him Off

(The song that previews on Lips 106, but wasn't featured in the full game)

Tom Novy-Back To The Streets (The song that featured in the Gta 3 German PS2 TV trailer) German Trailer-

Tom Novy was also going to be in the game but was later cut.

There's more beta songs i believe , but i thought these were the most interesting ones. :D

I've heard that some AC/DC song was originally going to be in III, but that's all hearsay I do believe.

One interesting thing though, if Kaotic Harmony was kept in GTA 3 (assuming it was in GTA 3 to begin with), it would've been the second time one of Derrick May's songs was in a Rockstar game. The first would be Midnight Club, where "Strings of Life" was featured in the introduction and "The Beginning" was the menu song.

If Kao-Tic Harmony, Back To The Streets, and Dirty Deeds were supposed to be in the game, where would they have played? There is no techno or rock stations in Liberty City. You know, games can use music for their trailers without having them appear on the soundtrack too. There's no rules about that.

Oh and before someone says "Rise" or "MSX", Rise is progressive trance, and MSX is drum and bass. Neither of those are techno.

Dirty Deeds was just a rumor apparently and Derrick May Kaotic Harmony was going to be featured according to Rockstar , but was never featured in the full game. and exactly there is no Rock station in Gta 3 lol. there was a couple radio stations that were cut thats probably why Kaotic Harmony and Tom Novy Back To The Streets did make it to the final game because the cut radio stations . There was gonna be a rock station in Gta 3 but was later cut before released .

There is one radio station i know of though called Liberty Soul FM that was cut before release of gta 3 . The radio station where you can still see posters on walls around Liberty City.

Please edit your previous post instead of double/triple posting, thanks!

Bullsh*t. I want a source on that.

Not a 100% yes or no answer, but considering that Head Radio is the only station in III with a physical headquarters and Novy had his own character model, he would've probably been connected to Head Radio some way some how. Maybe he would have given missions like Kent Paul did out of the VROCK Studio in Vice City?

Only head radio does. IIRC everything else is just generic buildings

Are there any cut songs from the GTA 3 Definitive Edition compared to the original PS2 2001 release?

I've read there's at least 1 cut song in the DE. Anybody know what it is?

Is Giacomo Puccini - O mio babbino caro On Double Clef FM, Also, this song is only in the PS2 version of the original GTA 3.

Damn it's actually a good song. Wish it was on the PC Port.

I'll mod it into GTAIV instead

I don't know if anyone is interested
but i have the full version of Lips 106 with Wash Him Off and the military commercial (with Andee's comments included)

so good
the beta version of Lips 106 is no longer lost media

I would need to add the Rush Rush song but I never knew at what exact moment it would appear so I did not add that one
