I installed the game, installed latest 1.0.8.0 patch for it, and I tried to activate it. You know to have multiplayer,achievments and connect it to rockstar social club. Well, the game told me that my code is incorrect. The game was new not used, so that wasn't right. I checked the code a few times and I typed it in right. I read somewhere that I should just go to Xbox/Microsoft page and redeem code there. So I did. Everything seemed fine, I got message that successfully activated GTA IV retail. Well not exactly becouse game is still not in my library and when launching GTA IV, it still asks me for cd-key and when I enter it, I got message that it is still incorrect. Tried to contact Rockstar support but they asked me for proof of purchase and photo of error etc. I sended them it, and they sended me as reply how to check integrity of game files. For Steam version. Guys can you help me? Anyone got similar situation? I don't want to play on offline account. EDIT: After 15 e-mails of sending proof that key does not work, and I that I am the owner of the game Rockstar finally sent me a new code. Time to close this one.
