I think a GTA proposal sounds fun and romantic!

There are a handful of scenarios that I don't expect to see in my life, like seeing a unicorn or going to a demolition derby in a Bentley, but I never thought I'd see the day where someone would describe GTA as romantic of all things.

In all seriousness, I believe you can have just about any kind of experience you want almost anywhere you want. Even in a game. I mean, you would never think that a silly cartoony game like World of Warcraft would be a good place to conduct a "game funeral" for a guildmate who passed away but I helped put one together once years ago and it was beautiful. The young man's family was very grateful and I was happy to help. Yeah, there were things we had to deal with like disconnects from the server and curious bystanders but we expected that.

 

So, sure GTA can be romantic, why not? Sh*t, it'd be better than the proposals some people get. Or don't get, in my case. My husband and I just kind of decided one day while looking at houses that we should get married so we could apply for the mortgage together. Which is fine but, yeah, not very romantic.

Invite a full lobby worth of people. Have everyone dress in suits and nice dresses. Then casually invite her to it as a car meet. Make it as traditional yet untraditional as you can. Take pictures and stuff. Valentines day is not too far away. They always put out lovey stuff.

Every couple is different. Since GTAO was a significant part of how they met and started to know each other, then it's fitting to be part of the proposal. I was the first of my friends to get engaged and all of us used different proposals that wouldn't have been "right" for any of the other couples.

 

I was travelling, met my wife, took her to a motel, after a fine performance I asked her to marry me (about 2 hours after I met her). Still married (with kids) 15 years later. Unconventional I guess but it's easy, you just ask.

Do the engagement properly. In real life, as part of some sort of romantic outing. This in no way precludes you from buttering her up beforehand with some romantic gestures within GTA Online.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It's a fun and novel way to do it. People have done it before in video games, but not many.

 

At least she's marrying a real person.

But this game is so terribly broken...i honestly just would not ever do it...not because it is geeky but because its GTAO.

 

I really advice an other more stable game...since this one has a great chance to bite you in the ass.
