Every couple is different. Since GTAO was a significant part of how they met and started to know each other, then it's fitting to be part of the proposal. I was the first of my friends to get engaged and all of us used different proposals that wouldn't have been "right" for any of the other couples.

You could, or have a friend, send a (real life) text message with "Special Crate Drop in 10 hours" and a picture of a nearby outdoor space with the familiar green circle. Repeat with "5 hours" and " 3 Hours" and then "inbound". Depending on the space, have someone fly over her with a drone and drop a "Special Crate" with a little parachute (or just throw one from a higher point) that has something inside for the proposal.

 

The anticipation of such a thing an corporealization of such a unique (and lost!) aspect from the game might be cool. It would be better if a friend threw/flew the crate to her so you could be with her as she opens it (without using firearms, of course).

omg I've got it. Get a bunch of friends to line their cars up next to one another and their licence plates could spell "Will-You-Marry-Me-NAME"

 

Probably make all the cars white vans with black plates so it stands out

I think a GTA proposal sounds fun and romantic! Some people in this thread have some pretty good ideas. I was trying to think of something as well but my brain is more disabled than usual after a long day at work. If you play on PC, let me know and maybe I can help out in your "proposal session" if you need people! :)

Better this than re-enacting a CEO mission where the partner-to-be would have to go out and do the whole damn thing herself ;)

There are a handful of scenarios that I don't expect to see in my life, like seeing a unicorn or going to a demolition derby in a Bentley, but I never thought I'd see the day where someone would describe GTA as romantic of all things.

It's definitely a sweet idea, however i would advice against it in gta. There're a lot of unreliablilities in gta that could occur. If you were to do it in a mission, what if you would be disconnected?

If it's in freeroam, what if ron calls you during your proposal?

And if you're getting help from many different forum members, what if one of them has different plans and decides to blow people up?

Kinda this...gtao is far to unstable.....just like half of its player base.

Have a look at the favourite sunset pics thread, romantic imagery to burn in there.
