But after dealing with the cheaters getting into solo online sessions, inb4 my face when they do character wipes on these people.

 

I can't see that happening. Changing network settings on the PS4 doesn't breach the terms of service. Lag switching is a bit dodgy but I don't know if R* would be able to prove that someone was using one.

 

 

Besides, with xb1 the connections are so dodgy if you stay in a session long enough, eventually you'll be on your own anyway.

So I only have $139,000, I own Del Perro Apt No. 7 & South Shambles garage (both 10 car garages)

 

I need to get a CEO office before the end of the 50% sale. Now supposing I don't make enough money off the grind to purchase it.

Is there a way of trading in Del Perro Apt No. 7 and offsetting the sale against the Maze Bank CEO office ($500,000)

You can't trade an apartment for an office, but you can trade it for one of the cheapest 2-car garages.

 

You'll get half the purchase value of your apartment back, minus the cost of the garage, and 8 of the 10 cars in Del Perro will appear as "in storage"; you can call them via the mechanic, but not see them in the garage (and I don't think you can race with them either).

What are MTU settings? I have an XB1, is that something I should do?

 

 

It's a network setting on PS4. Setting it to 800 (and below?) makes it so that players can't connect with you in-game. The PC equivalent is blocking a specific port in Windows Firewall. As far as I know, Xbox One doesn't have either so a lag switch is the only option there.

 

As for "is that something I should do?", it's subjective. If you feel like blocking player connectivity to grind crates solo is cheating, or feel like R* will start cracking down on those who do it (can R* even know you're messing with network and not, say, having actual network issues?) and don't want to risk anything - don't do it. If you want to easily grind crates solo and don't care about what others think - do it.

Not true. I simply log into my router and in the Advanced Settings, set my MTU to either 800, or 900. Bam. I have my own Public Lobby for XB1 where I can still invite my friends to join in, but no randoms.

Hmm, 50% off offices? I've been thinking of relocating to Lombank for the sea view, but is it a good location for crate work? And I'm also worried if Office garage space will be tied to individual offices.

 

Terrible for buzzard spawning out the front of the building, always under a lamp post AND tree so half time time you can't even take off without destroying it. I "upgraded" then about half an hour later was back in Maze Bank West.

Hmm, Buzzard under lamp post could be troublesome, yes, but personally I always use the helipad for the quick repair. The Lombank also don't have stairs on the helipad, I think.

 

Ugh, I'm just worried Lombank will deny me a large showroom garage. Also, I might want to relocate the Greenwich large warehouse to somewhere closer. And the greenwich has the upside of being close to an LSC so I can sell my daily car after I'm done with the first crate run.

Found a car garage for MB, only a parking garage for Arcadius.

If the car garage is under the offices it'll just be a blue corona somewhere; it doesn't matter if there is an entrance or obvious garage door. I'd choose Arcadius due to its central location and relative lack of popularity, although they both have a long trek to the helipad from the roof door that would get annoying.

I'm torn. Do I trade in Arcadius for a Beach Front view and a couple extra sheckles, but run the risk of the garage(s) not being the circular ones with the views. I'm starting to think only Arcadius and MBT will have the circular 20 vehicle garages.

Pretty sure the leaker said all 4, if you choose to believe them. I'm in Lombank and expect it to get one - don't forget Lombank is more expensive than Arcadius.

The added cost to your daily costs is barely anything. I owned max amount of properties and barely pass 3k per day

I wonder though, how much it'll add up after the 60 car garage is implanted......

I only want a cheap office to run I/E and CEO stuff. I'm not even going to bother upgrading the decor.

 

So with a standard office with accommodation I think I need about 800,000.

I may even sell my Brawler to help things move along.

When you get the office, you will have permanent VIP so you can forget about grinding contact missions and start grinding Sightseer and Headhunter
