S1T_D0WN_S0N-_- Posted December 8, 2016 Share Posted December 8, 2016 This may be a nooby mistake (I'm not a noob, just haven't been on much lately.) Anyway, here goes... A guy invited me to the Pacific Standard Heist and then kicked everyone out. He then re-invited all of us and we were all in a party, so we all had mics and could communicate. He said that if he gets a 65% cut, another guy gets 35%, and 2 people get 0%, *RED FLAG* that we could glitch it at the end and we could all get 65%. He explained that the Rockstar services would think that we all glitched out, and they would give us all an equal amount of cash. He also said that it may or may not work. *RED FLAG* All we had to do was finish the heist, and close out of GTA at the same time, once the final cutscene ended, and then re-open GTA and we would be taken to the final cutscene again and then we would all get the 65% cut. We did it, and to no avail. Now, in my defense, I thought it was sketchy as hell and I'm not just some sheep who believed it the whole time. Plus, I'm not completely mad that I may have gotten scammed, since I have a pretty decent bank account. So, was I the victim of just another dickhead scam, or is this a legitimate glitch that sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
UNST3RBLICH Posted December 8, 2016 Share Posted December 8, 2016 Unless it recently got patched, there is a Pac Standard glitch where you can keep doing the Finale without needing to do the setups, just sounds like he didn't know what he was doing. Amy Vinewood Posted December 8, 2016 Share Posted December 8, 2016 This is how it's supposed to work: The host is supposed to take 0%, and they are the ones that have to close gta when they cross under the bridge, nobody else. The other 3 need to go thru the cutscene with lester. It never splits the money equally either, it stays on what the host set it to. If i encountered this scam i would play along until we get to the bridge, then tell him i'm not stupid (no offence) and leave just to waste his time.
