for me more a d... move. as it seems you didn't tell him not to shoot at you. your sultan destruction could have been a simple error. it happened to me a lot

Meh... Really the rules of GTA are like this.

If someone f*cks you.. you f*ck them back even harder.

But the key really is how you f*ck them.. If someone kills me with a jet.. and i kill them with a melee weapon. Well the win goes to me for not using the big flying dildo.. but instead i simply whipped what had and fed that ass.

:D

Dick move to go get a hydra? Nah more like a bitch move. lol Sorry but I dont respect anyone who has to run to a jet or tank to fight. You say he was abusing passive but then again you had a jet AND off radar. You couldve easily put a bounty on him and prevented him from going passive tho. It can be considered justice as he killed you and you just returned the favor but then again you may have had a bounty on you and left that out of your story which would justify his kill. You did say he only killed you once then moved on. Either way come on guys getting killed in this game is not a big deal. Just respawn and go back to what you were doing. Unless he was spawn killing you, a single revenge kill is a waste of time. In the end if you want to be angry at someone be angry at yourself for not going into passive from the jump to avoid these random kills.

I agree with some of what you said but... It is what it is.

Alot of players have this sort of ADD kill mindset. They don't care who they attack as long as they attack people.. then move on to the next easy target they can find.. and don't look back.

I guess it comes down to awarness.

Someone kills me... unless i get a sorry im comming back for them. But i usally wait.. and bide my time. Watch what they do.. how they act. what they use.

If they are cheap shotting little bitch.. Il wait for my perfect cheap shot revenge kill. Right when they least expect it.. RIght as they are attack everyone else. Then i do exactly what they did.. and leave them be. Basically flipping it back on them and saying' Anything you can do.. so can i"

And if they want revenge after that.. Well il be waiting for them and making them come for it. if not.. well its even,.

But if a heli has you in sight and is already on you. Stopping the car and getting out is all situational.

I mean.. if you're on the highway with no cover. The chopper would already have you in sight and locked. You will not have enough time to re-act. At that point you're better off dying.. and re-spawning fast enough to get a lock on and take him down too.

Well you've definitely got a point. If a helicopter creeps up on you, then you're probably done unless you're in an armoured vehicle.

But I watch the map like a hawk, so if there's a helicopter anywhere close, I just stop, and then it's not going to kill me. (Unless it's a pretty good player, but even then, they're probably going to come out of the fight critically damaged in no time).

That said, when I say it's overkill, I'm not saying it's not justice. I'm just saying a jet is way, way more powerful than a helicopter (even more so than a helicopter vs a guy on foot, by a long way). But kills should be repaid with more kills, so, he shouldn't have killed OP if he didn't expect him to retaliate.

Plus the helicopter could've been smart and watched the map - when he saw him heading for a jet (or going off radar) he could've landed at the construction site (or somewhere similar) to snipe him down.

Ya.. thats why i means its all situational.

I usually watch the radar like a hawk to. But if im busy doing something else.. well I can't always be watching that radar. That radar is a pain in the ass. as it shows chopper blips from way up north when players are all the way south.

Cheap shot kills are just that.. Cheap shots. Just gotta roll witht the punches sometimes. They may have got the 1st kill easily. But thats why most players run the f*ck away after that. Because they know the 1st ones free.. the next one is gonna cost them.

Which is why so many players abuse passive after they finally get dealt with and their cheap shot kill streak comes to an end.

If you can't figure out how to survive a helo attack on a car, you're sad. Step 1: Get out of the car. Step 2: ...anything. It's really hard for most helicopter pilots to kill a target they can't lock onto, and you have a homing launcher, an RPG, auto-aim AR/MG if he gets close, and a sniper rifle.

Really.. getting out to take down a chopper would mean that you already know the player was hostile and was aware of this hostile player comming. So you are already ready. If you're just minding your own, and a chopper comes out of no where. re-action time is very limited depending on the pilot and your location.

Maybe it's just me, but I always keep an eye on my radar and look for helicopter and jet blips. I inherently don't trust them - in the case of helicopters I particularly keep an eye on CEO org members since they're usually in Buzzards. Once any such player gets close enough to lock onto me, I stop driving and get out, and ready the homing launcher just in case. I'm nearly as paranoid when anyone goes off radar - I'll scan the horizon for anything that flies, and if the person went off radar near me, I'll just get to cover (not in my car obviously) and wait until I know where they are before driving again.

On the rare occasions that my watchfulness fails me, I still try to keep moving at all times, no matter what. Don't park in your car, don't crash, just keep driving. If someone creeps up on you, their first shots will likely miss you (homing missiles from above tend to explode behind you unless the helo gets very low). After I hear the explosions, I'll just bail out. Don't bother stopping - let the car stop itself and meanwhile hopefully the pilot isn't a good enough free aim shot to hit your rolling body. That's if he even sees you bailed out. Most pilots are not very aware.

I get what you're saying. But if you are consantly watching your radar and being paranoid of attackers then thats all you're doing.

Watching the radar constantly does not help your driving. It also deters from anything else you're doing.

IN a packed game.. with choppers everywhere. It only takes a few seconds for a chopper to swoop over into lock on range and get a few rockets off. Thats why i say its situational.

I mean sure.. If the chopper pilot is easy to spot.. and you are aware. Then its easy to defend.

But.. lets say you're in the middle of the city on a monster truck rampage and choppers have been flying over you for a good while not being hostile.

That tends to make players less aware and not care... because no one attacked them yet. Then a hostile chopper does come in and well.. Thats that. Theres no defending.. no time to stop.. no time to get out.

It all depends on where and when things happen.. and how.

Well - occasionally you're gonna get blindsided, that's just GTA. All I'm saying really is that while I've had my car occasionally blown up by choppers, my kill/death ratio in those situations is VERY high. I get them a lot more often than they get me. Part of it too is that I don't usually immerse myself "in the sh*t," as they say. I don't know how others play, but if the city is packed with people killing each other and helicopters flying around, I get the hell out of there - either go north of the city somewhere, or hang around the outskirts of the city so I don't have to worry about too many potential attackers. There's enough stuff for me to do that I seldom NEED to be in the middle of 20 people all trying to kill each other. I certainly don't do MC and CEO work in those areas any more often than I have to.

I also would say that I don't stare down my minimap or anything, my awareness of my surroundings is high. But I keep a corner of one eye on it always, and helicopter/jet blips get my attention. When I notice them I'll expand my map or even pause to check the pause menu map and find out where they are. As soon as I become aware of someone flying a potential threat vehicle, THEN I start really paying attention - at least until I'm convinced they're not after me. sh*t, even if I'm in Paleto Bay and see a jet icon of someone who's probably in the city, I'll pause and watch their movements for 10-15 seconds just to see what their intentions are. Usually they hang around the area they started in, but you never know.

Well.. id like to think most people play really.. really high.

Seriously.. one hot box with me. And we would be up in the vinewood hills pool hopping all night. hahaha
