i just finished saving up to buy and fully upgrade a sultan rs i just drive out and get onto alta and then get blown up by a buzzard less than a mile from benny's so i get it repaired and call in my hydra and go chase the guy who blew up my car before i got in i called lester to remove my blip i catch up to the guy and lock on and shoot 2 missles as he was atackin other players as soon as i fire the 2nd one he activates passive to dodge my missles and i still have about 10 secs of no blip on radar so i back off and wait till he turns off passive which he does i then beeline right to him and when the missles lock and fire again i see the pause menu symbol on raidar he tries to ditch the game so he does not get killed but the missles hit him and blow him up then he leaves the game

after i killed him i went back to my sultan and blew up my hydra since i did not need it anymore and i dont like jet greifers i only use the hydra if someone is in one or tryin to kill me with helios

Not a dick move at all. Someone killed you and was using slippery methods to avoid getting killed back so you were well within your right to use any method to kill them.

Honestly, who has time to send messages to another 29 psychotic players in a session telling them not to go near you or blow up your car? Cos' I'll tell you 90% of them will just come after you for giving them the idea.

I usually just report for griefing!

Yupp, I'm a snitch.

Actually, there was this dide the other night, tried to kill me while I was dooing CEO-Headhunter.

He kept coming with a Buzzard, while he was chasing me, he got like 3 shots on my Insurgent, so I went to hide in a parking-garage, he waited outside on top of a building for me to leave the parking-garage..

I killed him a few times, and he sent me messeges on the phone

Tjen his buddies came to help him, like 3 jets agains me.. thats how much he sucked!

Then when I left the session, he sent messeges on PSN... Some people...

Nothing dick about it, straight up justice mate, tbh you could have gone beyond that and it still would've been justified.

Sorry but not thread worthy lol. Nonstory. Next time surprise him with the cannons.

Somewhat relevant....

Killed a jet griefer who landed his Lazer at the airport. He was texting me in passive talking s hit when I did the old eject crash my jet onto him and got the kill.

Lol he left shortly after.

Thoughts:

1 - Using a jet to go after any player who isn't in a jet is overkill, UNLESS they are playing with friends (outnumbered excuses everything) or they blew up your product or crates (all bets are off then, they knew full well what they were doing). Other than those situations, my philosophy is: "Try not to be the guy that turns the lobby into a jet war."

2 - Dudes who turn passive on and off when they're attacking other players are the lowest of the low. At this point, if someone kills me and isn't in an MC or CEO org, I slap a $1000 bounty on them immediately. I don't even want to give them the option to escape - I WILL get my revenge kill. Of course that only works once, unless you have friends to back you up with more bounties. But it's better than nothing.

3 - In general, I never blame anyone for seeking revenge when someone kills them in this game. That's practically the basis of free roam. But I wouldn't have used the jet. He's just in a helo - get your own Buzzard, or drive to his area off radar and use the homing launcher, which is just about as easy as a jet anyway.

Definitely justice. He started it, you finished it.

And definitely not overkill because you used a jet to go after a heli. He used a helicopter to attack a car. F*ck off with that overkill BS.

I don't bother chasing after someone for revenge, but I will remember the name in case they do any CEO/Biker work later. If they do, I'll do my best to mess it up.

Still.... justice.

I hate the players that leave because they're losing in an Adversary Mode and then later invite you to a heist. Funny enough, I got one for the Pacific Standard Job and it was very satisfying leaving just as he got to the Dinghy. Deserved it.

if you don't take the time to do it, you may turn something into a war that would have never existed otherwise. some people for example don't even know what warehouse crates are. personnally i'm not into PvP so i have to face very few attacks. when they attack and they don't answer to my warnings, i simply pourish their game until they leave. as simple as that. but in 80% of the cases few words can stop hostilities. for example once a guy was attacking my blockade. i told him to do PvP eventually, but not to harm my cargo. the guy didn't blow up my truck, and he even came later to escort me

it's just a game? How would you like it if you were playing Monopoly and the other players were stealing and hiding money? Some people just dont play fair.

Thats the problem with GTA Online. Too many KD whimps. Just yesterday, I killed a dude with a bounty when he came outside. The cops killed me. He registered as a CEO and so did I, because some people can only get kills while using BST. We got into a sniper fight and right as I was about to kill him, he blew himself up. He kept blowing himself up until he got a good spawn, so I couldnt spawn trap him. I blew myself up and you guessed it, I spawned in his all BSTed up sights and he got me. I respawned and came after him and waited around the corner because he was gonna spam rockets. I called a mugger on him and right after he got mugged and was on the ground powerless, he left the session. I play dont play freemode much because of tryhards and passive abusers. When people start that suicide crap, whether are up on me in kills or not, I live that area. These are obviously little kids that think having a high KD means youre a good player, which is why they kill themselves when they are losing the fight.

How do you mean ambush?

Whats funny is, we ended up 4 - 4, all my kills where with AP pistol and one homing launcher, his kills with first a buzzard, then he sniped me twice while I was trying to leave, then he went to get the almighty HYDRA for the 4th kill... somin my book, I still won!

Justice, I make exceptions and grief people who think they can get easy kills all the time. Teach them a lesson

Justice, he shouldn't had killed you, and if you want to avoid passive jumpers, you should've set a bounty on him then went to your jet.

If you care that much about being blown up, just stay in passive mode or solo lobbies.

Justice, vengeance or wathever you want to call it is pretty primitive behaviour. Rise above it. When they go low, you go high! ;)

That being said, if you enjoy the retaliation, by all means go chase them trolls. But I find it too tiresome of a game to play, without any real satisfaction.

Ha! Another situation I would have used my minigun.

I have to kill them right away. If I have to take the time to call Pegasus, spawn a Hydra, drive to it, take off, etc then I'm not mad anymore. Go off radar, shoot them down with the minigun. No warning beeps. Kill them while I'm still seeing red (or get killed, I don't care, I just love the battle). :)

pausing to switch session?! he must have been a noob... he should have choosen the easy way out, negating you the kill.

Reminds me of players quitting jobs when losing. They pause, which gives me or my team enough time to kill them a few times  Damn noob's didn't know they could quit via the phone

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

I love taking a little time to retaliate, if I can. I find it much more satisfying to head in another direction while plotting out my next few moves and catch the bastard unprepared when I unleash hell.

And then sometimes it's best I go after them right away, like the guy who shot down my unarmed heli in his jet for no reason last night. I'm in the middle of nowhere, so I pull out my heavy sniper and bring his Hydra to the ground, then find a vehicle and go on the attack.

And definitely not overkill because you used a jet to go after a heli. He used a helicopter to attack a car. F*ck off with that overkill BS.

If you can't figure out how to survive a helo attack on a car, you're sad. Step 1: Get out of the car. Step 2: ...anything. It's really hard for most helicopter pilots to kill a target they can't lock onto, and you have a homing launcher, an RPG, auto-aim AR/MG if he gets close, and a sniper rifle. Hell, even if he kills you, you shouldn't need a jet to get him back; half the time you'll spawn close enough to him to fire a homing rocket before he even manages to fly away.

My point is, too many players in GTA are too quick to escalate. Then we all sit around and wonder why lobby after lobby is plagued with guys in jets. Hmmm...

Ultimately you do what you feel you gotta do. I have no problem with revenge killing, it's what motivates me half the time. But I believe we should all take ownership of the state of the game, too. And all I know is that the first guy to break out a jet is very, very seldom the last guy to break out a jet.

But if a heli has you in sight and is already on you. Stopping the car and getting out is all situational.

I mean.. if you're on the highway with no cover. The chopper would already have you in sight and locked. You will not have enough time to re-act. At that point you're better off dying.. and re-spawning fast enough to get a lock on and take him down too.

Really.. getting out to take down a chopper would mean that you already know the player was hostile and was aware of this hostile player comming. So you are already ready. If you're just minding your own, and a chopper comes out of no where. re-action time is very limited depending on the pilot and your location.
