How do you use your minigun?

Against jets passing by low to the ground, as a fair warning against people in general passing by in cars if i do not feel to threatened(if i do i use the rpg), against modded rollers on ps3, against gass tanks and against people beyond the efective range of the combat mg but still closer then any distance i would need a scoped weapon on.

 

Further in free aim i use it even more and i also often use it against hostile NPC's.

I rarely use it to be honest, I prefer the RPG/Homing when the situation calls for extreme firepower.

This. Barely use it against players, maybe if Im bored Ill take it out against a low ranked player just for the hell of it.

Though many times it is my go to weapon when going on a killing spree against cops n their helis.

during heists when lot of infantry in front of me. or during survival against helos. but certainly not in PvP. PvP griefers eliminator remains the stinger for me. nothing can beat that thing in PvP

Playing "Kill Quota" the past couple of weeks was the first time I had used it in ages. I was sort of surprised by just how much fun it is to use, but I don't think I've ever really used it outside of Survivals and the odd deathmatch (where it is available as a pickup) in the past.

It will take quite a while for I am only rank 81 yet. But I think I'll stick to the HK416 (Vom Feuer Carabine Rifle) anyway...

The only time I use a Minigun is when I feel like taking down police helicopters shooting the tail rotor.

I actually don't even remember when was the last time I used it.While it's powerful and has great rate of fire,I don't like how you can't run fast or take cover while using it,so I prefer other weapons.

I feel that it gives it a balance. If you could do all of what you just said then it would be way OP.

Minigun is no joke but I find it pretty useless compared to RPGs. If I'm gonna use OP weapons might as well go all the way. And I usually kill someone using the minigun with the marksman.

I pull it out on Series A - Trash Truck at the gas station and on Humane Labs - Key Codes on the car park when playing with (low level) randoms. I don't like /use it in any other situation. You run slow as a cripple - it takes "ages" to unleash the first round - nah.

That's how I defended a cargo at one point. He kept respawning and shooting me with his MG.

 

And the minigun is definitely overpowered.

I use it in PAC finale because I know my ammo will be back to full after the heist. Other than that, I've killed 8 players with it going by my stats, more than half was a friend who was trying to jump over the fire of bullets.

Go up on a rooftop and wait for the Jet griefer to swing back around.

I may die a couple of times, but when the Minigun connects, it does sweet damage to the Jet and within 1-2 rounds of fly-bys, the griefer will be down.

Just in time for the Mugger I sent to nail him, right before the jerk quits the session for fear of "entire lobby lashback."

Plus, I use it just for the sound.

Maybe,but since I prefer to have realistic shootouts and use cover a lot instead of standing in the open and shooting,it's practically useless for me.If I tried using it in a mission where I'm fighting against a dozen or more NPCs,I would probably be dead before I could kill two enemies.
