How do you use your minigun?

I prefer to use it against Insurgents and other trollish vehicles. How do you use yours?

Against helicopters (terrible thing to say, I know, but it works well - if the guy's hiding behind buildings he'll generally be close enough to just rip to pieces).

 

Sometimes against tryhards spamming the marksman rifle and killing themselves, not really often though.

 

I don't use it that much.

 

You could try it on jets I guess, but it doesn't point very high, doesn't really have the range for that, and the muzzle flash it gives off will show the jet pilot where you are.

Police helicopters if I'm feeling particularly angry, but otherwise I tend to avoid burning through ammo with it.

I point it in the general direction of something I don't like and shoot. It may hit said thing eventually. Or just against the tail rotor of helicopters.

I pull the trigger then spin around in a circle while doing the hokey pokey. Can't figure out why I'm always dying though.

I usually spray mine in short bursts to try to be as accurate as possible while saving up on ammunition costs

I only use mine during resupply missions. It's the easiest way to kill the driver of an armoured truck.

It's one of those weapons that should be much better than it actually is.

 

Expensive to use and not very effective in most circumstances.

 

Having said that, back in the day when we all did Pac Stan the intended way, we used to love going down the alley with miniguns blazing Arnie style. We'd walk the whole way slowly obliterating everything we came across until we reached the bikes. Sometimes I'd have some ammo left!

I actually don't even remember when was the last time I used it.While it's powerful and has great rate of fire,I don't like how you can't run fast or take cover while using it,so I prefer other weapons.

I don't use it. I personally don't find it to be a good weapon at all. My heavy sniper or even my marksman beats most minigun users I've ran into.

You're wasting precious ammo and profits, then. The most effective way is to just call in an insurgent pickup, stop at a huge intersection and blast the sh*t out of everything. Or use a Hydra. I've beaten Hydras during Criminal Damage using that method, but it might come down to the individual player's skill. I'm sure a good Hydra pilot would be unbeatable.

 

Anyway, I personally only use it when I wanna mow down NPCs during missions. I don't like using it against players that much.

Criminal damage should be done with a pegasus vehicle. Doesn't matter which one as long as you aren't using your own ammo. My high score was 10million and that's before I knew the ceo buzzard and hydra itself counted towards the total damage. Next time I have an opportunity I think I can beat 10m by destroying ceo buzzard maybe a couple times if I can and the hydra at the end before the time runs out.

I forgot it was in the game, to be honest. I've got a heavy rifle for anything outside of 416 range.
