Mister Pink
Most of you wont know him and he's someone I've only started listening to in the last couple of years. We were listening to a good few of his songs at the weekend while we partied. Only found out he died at the end of last month, homeless and penniless. He was considered by some to be a pioneer of House music and some big hits in the 80's. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/colonel-abrams-dead-homeless-new-york-gofund-me-funeral-a7445461.html I got introduced to him through Boards of Canada (when they were called Hell Interface) remix of Trapped. Here's remix This guy makes awesome party/80's music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=go0qQYc3_UI BTW, Colonel Abrams is his real name Edited December 7, 2016 by Mister Pink A Maned Wolf, SmokesWithCigs, s-u-r-y-a and 3 others 6 RUBBΣR░J♢HNNY (スオッ)

Yeah it's kind of sad. That's why I wanted to make the topic. Haha that would be awesome. s-u-r-y-a 1 RUBBΣR░J♢HNNY (スオッ)
s-u-r-y-a
I first heard about him when I was a schoolboy buying 80's compilation CD's with my saved pocket money. Trapped was the only song I knew of him at the time. I thought it was a cool song from the year I landed in this world we are living. I heard about the sad news trough Facebook a week or so ago. I have contacts from France that organize Funk events in Paris and Lyon. Colonel Abrams was often invited and performed during their shows and gave autographs to the party people. I'm confused to read that he was homeless and broke. Really? Because I read that he apparently had diabetes since a few years but unfortunately passed away. He's not suffering anymore and may his soul rest in power. He will be remembered by us who know and listen to his music. Another great track by Colonel Abrams I was looking for the original video of Trapped in HD quality in YouTube at the beginning of this year but it wasn't and still isn't in ColonelAbramsVEVO. Here's the original video in very good 1985 quality. Edited December 9, 2016 by AAR icecoldkilla1467 and Mister Pink
