GeorgeTKE
First, let me preface this with I have done my due diligence. I watched all the tutorials by openiv and did a deep dive over several hours on youtube and searched many a forum for assistance to no avail. So I find myself here. I have downloaded and used mods with issue, or at least without issue I couldn't figure out how to fix, and so I have decided to try my hand at modding, for now liveries for unlocked cars. Nothing to post or share, this is simply to educate myself and learn from the experience. That said, is there a way in openiv or other program to preview a vehicles livery (or skin) on the vehicle without first having to load up and run GTA V, spawn then car, shut down GTA V and then make edits. I have found it to be a time consuming and aversive process. It is hard to be motivated when you find yourself spending almost twice the amount of time it takes to make the livery just testing and seeing how it looks. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. All right, so more digging, and one bit of dumb luck I managed to get a livery on the model in openiv. Woo! Now there are more liveries in the .ytd file, but I can't figure out if I can scroll through the different liveries or if I am "stuck" in the preview with only the first one.
