I have found it surprisingly lucrative pottering about in populated lobbies hoovering up bounties, the money accumulates very quickly.

Especially if there are loads of low level players as they tend to have to resort to jacking nice cars and also are more likely to have bounties put on them for doing so.

No offense to the OP, some of the game he is missing or may not fully comprehend. The bikers and CEO stuff plays right into the competitiveness of the game and that some people just prefer to kill players in free roam, such as the example of the torching the crates in the biker mission. Similar thing happened to me, but the guy left and I was able to complete. I had another player bomb me and convict bus about thirty seconds from getting to destination. It happens.

I just get annoyed when in the free roam and some kills me, but keeps going after me. Rushes to my spawn point to kill me again. I get this quite a bit. I don't have to president or anything. I don't even kill them first. I had one guy kill me twelve times in a row. I've tried high tailing it out of the area, but still chased in killed. I know I should have left that lobby. It's just I did not get the point.

As for the money, it's a business model for Rockstar and many other such games. The shark cards are part of the reason we don't have to pay for the new DLC or GTAO. Yes, some of the prices of stuff seems high to me, but I don't expect all things to cheap or quick to earn.

I agree with finding some friends to play with. It also to find a good session for free roam events. Other than that, I would suggest finding things you enjoy doing, and mix it up between them. Grinding isn't so bad if you like the task you're doing. I enjoy contract missions and similar tasks. I play almost solo because I have no friends for GTAO because my friends don't play online or GTA.

Money rolls in easy when you're having fun doing heists, missions, races,... Just don't spend it all on ammo trying to be a freeroam warrior. Be smart about your spendings and you'll be bottomlessly rich in no time.

*Yawns*

1 - Set your MTU to 800 or lower, if you can't do that in your console or PC then restrict your router with an lagswitch, now you have a public session all for you to enjoy alone;

2 - Do a buying run(3 crates preferrably) or any Biker sh*t I don't like to deal with;

3 - While the countdown timer goes down, do any of the VIP jobs(headhunter with a Buzzard is the fastest and most profitable);

4 - Do a selling run, sell all at once to get a hugher profit margin;

If you did everything right, you have made about 200,000 in under an hour, without needing to waste your time with loading screens and getting infuriated with heists.

P.S.: My reference is a single small warehouse, since that is the only warehouse I own.

P.S. 2: I have no idea how long it takes to do biker work and get paid, I heard it's faster than CEO, but I don't really know and can't be bothered to.

P.S. 3: For fast travel between places, use a Buzzard if you can spawn one, or call in a Hydra, Vestra or whatever it is as fast.

P.S. 4: Explosives are a real money drain, don't use them.

- Be a good driver -> Premium races

- Play VIP jobs with friends.

- In a private lobby with a friend play Bikers jobs alternating with Criminal Mischief challenge.

If someone doesn't make money, it is because he doesn't want to. Very easy make money in next-gen.

I agree with OP. There is no fast way to make money fast, especially if you work. I think OP is trying to say making 1 million dollars take's a little too long. Anyone know how to make a million dollars within less than 2 hours? I can only make about close to 300,000.

Heists...or at least the pacific standard can make 500 k per 1.5 hour.

Though personally i think payouts in general need to be buffed because nothing else even compares with such a payout and rockstars matchmaking is after all this time still so sh*tty....god...they should triple the payouts on most activities for sure.

Unless they fix their matchmaking...but that is never gonna happen

And before you say do biker missions and heists, and CEO missions. I'm gonna tell you to shut up.

Well right there you've counted yourself out of some of the best ways to make money. I can only assume that you don't want to get any advice but just wanted to complain. But I've done all those things and right now have five properties, a yacht, CEO building with two warehouses, an MC club with two businesses and more cars than anyone could ever need and about every Pegasus vehicle and still have over over £100m in the bank. That's pretty much all legit. So I don't see what your problem is. Maybe you just need to play the game rather than expecting to get it all easy or for free.

Playing legit is hard work but it can be done...it's a time sink though...I've made 10m this last week

Playing legit is where the fun is and the whole point of owning the game. I think some people just want to spend all their time shopping and not doing all the fun things int he game like shooting things and blowing things up. If all you want to do is shop then you've bought the wrong game. Return it to the shop and get The Sims instead.

Why do people who've only "seen a video" post like they know what they're talking about? All the questions here can be answered using the search function in this forum. Can you make money? Yes you can. But not if you're mentally lazy. I made a million a day on just biker businesses in Blaine County during the 2x money event, and still make $350,000 a day (average 2 hour session) without the event (my recipe: do a couple of sell missions from my Alamo Sea MC businesses at 1 to 2 bars in a not-too-crowded lobby, then do a Headhunter, a Sightseer, and maybe a couple of stunt races while my product builds up, then sell again. I usually buy supplies but sometimes I do the steal missions because sometimes they're a lot of fun).

And if you're smart enough to follow semi-complicated instructions, there's a couple of dupe glitches active right now that make a lot more money than that. Google is your friend.

And if you're actually good at gaming you can make millions just playing the game (I wish I was :( ).

And how much have you invested in the bike club what are the profit? Dont do glitch is wrong the fact that all do glitch is that is take some time to be a bilioner! So the topic is right!

One thing whit the topic you people forget is that you cant sell the club so everytime you logg in you are president and have borring grinding to do!

You know less than everyone here...

So explain

And?Dude, open your Interaction Menu, go to the MC settings and quit from there. You're not obliged to be an MC President forever  Same with CEO and VIP.

Leaving won't get rid of your clubhouse, nor can you sell it.

Make friends.

No. I'm not being sarcastic.

I started playing a month or 2 before the Heists DLC dropped. I'm usually a loner type and so didn't have many friends. I knew that if I wanted to run Heists, I would need to network. Make friends. Make friends of their friends and so on. I'm not the most outgoing guy, so it wasn't easy going at first. But perseverance pays off. Eventually, I had a friends roster large enough that I could run heists any time. I was turning down invites because I ahd already promised to run with another group. And by playing with a steady set of friends, we all got better and more efficient. Sure, some drop off now and then, but new ones come in all the time too.

Expanding your contacts means easier heist runs (and more frequent), help when needed for businesses, etc.

Yes. You CAN make money fast and easy in this game... it's just not easy to do it SOLO.

Do you recommend a mic?

Of course. I know some prefer to stay quiet or anonymous. You don't HAVE to be talkative, but it does make things easier.

I'm not going to use a mic in GTA until there are far less asshats using them. I may check it again from time to time, but unless things change it's not staying on for more then a few minutes.

When I tried it again recently I always got one of the same various responses.

Shut up kid

You're just a gay kid so shutup

You're not allowed to play GTA until your balls drop so don't come back until then.

People raising the pitch of their voice just to be rude.

People acting like dumbasses trying to use every and anything to be rude.

Or some combination of the above.

I don't care if people don't like my voice, but I'm not going to deal with insults and bullsh*t over voice chat. I'm not going to try and talk like a guy, and I'm never going to have balls so get over it.

I know I'm not the only one that thinks similar to this, and if there were less people bitching and being assholes over voice chat more people would use it.

Jesus christ..if you have a good group of friends you can take turns hosting the pac stan finale, you can easily make a couple of millions in 2 hours.... if you're by yourself just grind the hell out of CEO missions and crate work in solo public sessions - if you're on PS4 there's an easy way to split your session - go to settings, change the date to the following month, wait 10 seconds and change back to the correct date. You can also glitch your MC supplies and sell your stock every 4 hours or so... plenty of ways of making easy money if you're smart and keep an eye on the right website(s) :p

But thats cheating so the topic is correct!

Made 70 mil from pacific so far, making money in pav heist is so easy i don't understand why would people do anything besides it, ceo stuff is really boring becauce all you do is drive from point a to point b and it isn't even very profitable. Pacific is by far the best and most fun way to get money

The missions and hiest is underpayd all you suggest is reapet missions or glitch or save money but what to save for the idea is to have fun and buy what you want! One fact is that i picked up 60,000 and lost 40,000 thats how litle we earn just by playing the game and thats from 2 years!

I buyed shark cards several times under bonnus i got 125,0000 as bonnus thats nothing! The shark cards is so overpriced!

Okey so you played hiest 100times and thats pure borring dont understand why you brage about repetetiv gaming? The true logic is finding a game that has the platform and game flow that you find fun. Not, pick the hottest game to try and fit in somehow and then bitch about what you don't like about it and how you can't/don't have fun playing it.

*NEWSFLASH* it ain't about you.

You either like it and play it. Or don't like and not play it. I find plenty of things wrong with this game that suck ass and are bad, but I don't childishly bitch because I'm not getting my way. I play all the ways that have been fun since I first got into GTA with III.

You also don't need everything the game has to offer, so I don't understand the need for excessive funds and excessive amounts of space wasting pixels, just to say I do/did/can.

They ways you listed (CEO/Heists) are the best ways to make money if you don't glitch or pay for cash cards.. So either you can join in or continue to complain about being broke.. those are your options.

I've never glitched or bought shark cards either. But I'll say it's never been easier to make money in this game. Whether the price increase of high end items matches the extra revenue available remains to be seen.

Biker businesses are much less like grinding than anything else and after 3 years of hard grind, I don't have that in me any more.

The bikers update saved GTA for me.

Can you make money fast? That depends on how you define fast. This is what I do when I want to make money "fast."

I'll login and spend 10 minutes to buy stock for all four of the good businesses. Then I'll retire from the MC, sit my character in front of the TV, turn off my actual TV, set a timer for 2 hours, and go do something productive in real life.

when the alarm goes off, I'll turn my TV back on, get my character up from their binge watching of Fame or Shame, spend another 10 minutes to buy product for all four of my businesses, then retire from the MC, sit the character in front of the TV, turn off my actual TV again, set another timer for 2 hours, and go do something else productive in real life.

When that timer goes off, it's time to play the game. I'll make sure I'm in a "private" public session, buy product for Coke and Meth (they need another 60 or 144 minutes to completely fill, if the day started with them empty), then sell my businesses in this order: Weed > Counterfeiting > Coke > Meth. I'm also buying product before starting the sale mission so that the businesses are already grinding away for the next cycle. It usually takes me 1:45 to sell all four businesses solo.

After expenses (buying product and business daily fees) I make just over $600k. After only actually playing the game for 2 hours and 5 minutes, that works out to $288k an hour. As an added bonus, I also completed 4 hours of laundry, house cleaning, eating, internet surfing, or anything else I want to do in real life.

TL;DR I can make $288k an hour with this one weird trick!

-Hostile Takeover

I started a new account about 3 weeks ago(my normal account has 2 characters leveled in the 200's). I'm an adult with a normal M-F 9-5 job, a live-in girlfriend who complains every time I turn the PS4 on(I should probably find a new one)....So I don't play everyday, and when I do it's only for a couple hours if that. In the 3 weeks since I've started the new account, I have a luxury apartment, CEO office, 1 small warehouse, MC clubhouse, a coke business, a few cars(including an $$RE7 for racing) & motorcycles(all fully modified), and a buzzard. So I have already spent plenty of in game $ but I still have over 10mil in the bank. I have only done the Pac standard job once, I have not completed Prison Break, or Series A yet, and I haven't glitched or cheated...I think I have done pretty well in that short period of time, so I completely disagree with OP that there is no FAST way to make money in the game.

OP must expect $$ to be handed to them just by turning on the game. No wonder people @ Rockstar consider alot of players "entitled little C*nts" as RockstarF*GG*T had said IIRC. Play the game, and you can make $

To your poll, OP - Are there enough ways to makey money in GTA:O? My answer: yes. I use legit and non-legit. I say f*ck it, I'm playing a crime simulator, not an ethics simulator.

Now, to get more to your points.

A. GTA:O is designed as a grind - if you don't want to grind, buy a cash card. Those are you legit choices. You aren't supposed to make money "fast." "Fast" goes against R*'s business model.

B. Dupes and glitching is a way to take control of your fate in GTA:O and profit millions. I sell 3 fully modded Sultan RS's @ $797,000/each a day. If you are part of the moral minority, then this option goes off the table. If this option has appeal to you, make friends with the glitching community. We're pretty damn cool no matter what the moral minority says - it makes the game much more fun to be able to play YOUR way and not be R*'s tool.

C. It won't change, R* makes millions forcing you into their grind or cash card boxes. It's up to you to complain or take your destiny in your own hands. Your choice.

D. I had an account money wiped not long ago. In two months, I'm at 80 million a that's just loafing.

So, its up to you. Complaining won't change anything. It's up to you - and only you. I have serious misgivings about the game today, but money is not one. My gripes are content based. Will my complaints change anything? No. R* makes too much money off of the current model.

I have never bought a shark card, never glitched the game, never used mods. That is just a little insight to how much money I earn in Gta. I have played for 3 years and still can't find a decent way to earn money. And before you say do biker missions and heists, and CEO missions. I'm gonna tell you to shut up. There are so many wait timers, restrictions and other limitations to those things. Another thing is that you can't do anything alone/ without getting killed. I was doing the biker mission called torched (mission where you have to blow up some boxes) and people ( who gain nothing from stopping me) flooded the area. Everyone teamed up ( even when they were in different businesses and biker clubs) to kill me and one other person. I failed the mission. This wasted my time and made me hate Rockstar. Why must these missions ( that others won't benefit from) show up on the map. Just let me try to earn some junky cash. Also the biker businesses suck. Unless you have the meth or coke businesses you will never make a profit, and on top of that I can't sell the businesses. I am sick of doing these 1hr+ adversary modes grinding for money. Double money doesn't give crap. Especially when you have crappy internet (Thanks comcast). They say they wanna keep doing updates that they have been doing, but that to me sounds god awful. I ( and lots of others) invest to much money we actually worked for in the game to basically get thrown away in an attempt to either make more money, or play new content. If the newest update (Import/Export) doesn't make me a profit then I'm done. I already found out these new cars are gonna be 1-6 million dollars each. All I wanna do is customize cars and race my friends. I hate spending hours getting no where in lobbies with the biggest assholes on earth trying to waste more time getting the supplies for my business. This is another bad part of the biker businesses. Instead of putting in the money for the start and buying upgrades you must spend your TIME grinding for supplies. This makes me want to sell my business, but I can't unfortunately. If you don't have 4 or more players in your motorcycle club (that actually participate in the work) then you can kiss 1-2 hours of your life good bye. On a good note the supplies get used up fast. Especially if you didn't buy some upgrades. Don't get me started on how crappy the double money adversary modes are. I'm okay with game modes like slipstream, deadline and power play, but the amount of time it takes to get people to join in and the profits at the end just aren't worth it. Especially if it's not double money. That's all I have to say and I wish that Rockstar would listen. But they won't.

After three years, my morales have gone out the window. I was a "clean" player before the latest char switch. Now I don't need to grind ever again.

As soon as this glitch is figured out in the public domain, easy $$$$:

Today I played for 65 minutes and banked $235,880 and also put away another $90,000+ for future use

Start game

Sell 1.5 bars of Coke, non-local, for $126k (Trashmaster)

Sell a stored gang car for $12,940

Go to office and switch from Biker President to CEO

Purchase and collect three single-crates (-$6,000)

Acquire a gang Peyote and Dubsta2

Sell 1.0 bars of Coke, non-local, for $84k (Buzzard)

Sell a stolen gang car for $12,5~~ (damaged during the theft)

Put console in sleep mode

It's not that hard to make money. If you invest some first (CEO and Biker) you can earn it back and then make real money with low carrying cost.

I could have done Heists or grinded away on missions and made more $/minute, but this was all solo and not repetitive enough to feel like a grind.

Made 70 mil from pacific so far, making money in pav heist is so easy i don't understand why would people do anything besides it, ceo stuff is really boring becauce all you do is drive from point a to point b and it isn't even very profitable. Pacific is by far the best and most fun way to get money

Wow. So doing pac over and over again just so you can buy new cars that you can drive to the bank in. That sounds pretty boring.
