Do they usually do sales in the Christmas update?

This is my first time actually witnessing a Christmas update in GTA Online as I am not really old to this game.

 

Do they usually do sales on cars, warstock items and so on?

This is the first year of big sale offers in game so I don't think we have had any the past two Xmas events.

 

We shall find out once the new update is released so I would keep an eye on the forum or newswire for news, I sspect there will be something on offer but not

sure which websites they will pick or vehicles/weapons etc.

Depends. Not on permanent content. But you get discounts on various car upgrades. Last year if you installed a Christmas horn your car would jingle over bumps in the road.

 

Most seasonal clothing items are free but go away once the promo is over.

I wish I could remember the specifics but I'm pretty sure lowriders dropped in October 15' and f&f in December. I think lowriders was heavily discounted in January 16'. I'd expect a similar trend, with bikers being heavily discounted in early January. I could be very wrong lol.

They do sh*t like that every week, all year round. Keep an eye on the newswire.

They used to do 50% off on almost all vehicles during special occasions (4th of July, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday... Etc), but this year (2016) they switched to the "event weeks" formula where they discount specific stuff.

 

However, the 50% on Cache & Carry a month or so ago give us hope for more sales...
