Any particular reason they removed the ability to shoot friendly chars

GTA is built around ridiculous and nonsensical fun. Why remove the ability, say if you're Michael, to just go home and pop Jimmy with a shotgun after he's been mouthing off to you?

 

I know it's probably to keep them SAFEhouses, to remove the chance of random NPCs breaking into your house and using their weapons on you - but why not just disable their gunfire, or when you're in a building and start shooting people it also unlocks their ability to shoot?

In safehouses and free roam I understand it is like that because we can be charged up to $5000 from medical expenses if we dhoot any of our NPCs friends.

Players would bitch a lot about this.

 

But not being able to draw a weapon in clothes stores, barbers, LSC and ammunations is something I will never understand...

It was just a stupid decision that limits your freedom to do what you want and takes away some of the fun you can have.

 

They did the same thing with the cheat codes. They don't let you use certain cheats in missions and they put a 5 minute time limit on the invincibility cheat. It's like they don't want you to have fun and they create these unnecessary restrictions just to make the game less enjoyable.

 

Just let us do what we want!
