R.I.P. Duffel Bag: Officially Blacklisted

*Just for me and two friends (apparently...)*

 

Well, R* has taken another big stride in their crusade against fun.

 

Along with a number of glitched clothing items, namely their recent botching of masks+helmets, duffel bags now no longer appear on my previously saved outfits.

 

My entire outfit is still there, nothing is different except for a missing bag...

Same deal with two of my friends.

 

Apparently we all got unlucky or somethin'...

Doesn't stick.

It's literally blacklisted so that it will not appear, much like mask + helmet combinations.

 

Just had a sell mission with duffel bag(s).

That's how we figured out they blacklisted it.

It means banned, barred, boycotted, embargoed, so on and so forth. It's such a basic and common word.

Well jeez that's bloody pathetic. There was no discernible reason to blacklist them, especially after we got them for a business sale, a legitimate feature. Another unfortunate case of pointless removal.

I don't mean to be a dick rider, but I'm pretty sure Rockstar has their reasons to patch up glitched outfits. If it really wasn't a big deal like most of us think, Do you really think would go through the trouble of patching this if they were really against fun?

 

Rockstar once stated they were open to keeping non-breaking glitches.

Maybe glitched outfits are game-breaking and we just don't realize it?

Doesn't matter if they've said they will leave harmless glitches alone, they're still glitches and they have every single right to patch them. Coming from a guy who loves his cop outfit and his duffel bag. Be happy if you do get stuff, but don't complain if it vanishes.

I believe once again the issue of the game randomly deleting your outfits or appearing to blacklist the duffel bag is the cause of OP's problems.

 

I have not glitched any duffel bags on my characters but I still loose outfits or pieces of outfits because the game thinks it's a glitched outfit. My suggestion

try deleting the original outfit and then redoing the glitch and saving the new outfit with the duffel bag and see if the new one sticks?

 

That will tell you if it is blacklisted or not.

I think DangerZoneX's theory that clothing glitches are patched to reach a quota of glitches each employee can show they've patched a month is the most likely situation.
