Sumo Mode in Creator?

Does anyone know if there's a way to set up a Sumo Mode in the Creator? I did one as a Deathmatch high in the sky, but the issue with this is score is still determined by kills and falling out of the sky arena doesn't explode cars when they hit the ground. It's just hard to determine a winner.

 

Is there a way to simulate the Sumo Mode where a car will explode if it falls out of the arena?

You have to put the platform high enough up in the sky that cars that get knocked off will fall out of the arena on the way down and then explode when they hit the ground.

The problem is the cars don't explode if you land on your wheels. I'm wondering if R* could easily allow us to create Sumo, Hunting Pack and likewise.

Place Dynamic explosives around the edge. However if placed too close, they will all explode simultaneously which will then render the whole idea useless.

Why not have the sides angle down into a tube and place explosive tanks in the tube? Kind of like a funnel

The arena was higher than the peak of Mt. Chiliad, and I nose dived a muscle car into the ground and it didn't explode. Ended up just making a new arena as Last Team Standing which kills/eliminates you if you fall outside of the play area.

No, this was after saving it and loading it up to try it out with some friends. Each of us got knocked off during the course of it and not a single car blew up when it hit the ground.

Make this in LTS. you have to set a play area and if the player is knocked out of the area for too long they will automatically die. Its an idea but its up to you.

Wouldn't doing it over the water work? Guarantees the car to be destroyed.

I did end up making it a LTS, as mentioned above. I didn't try over water. That really guarantees the car is destroyed on impact?

Depends how high the car is from the ground/water.

As long as the car falls out of the play area and people cant get back to it, they'll fail the LTS.

The car may not necessarily be destroyed though

Most definitely

The car being destroyed, I think OP is referring to being blown up. In this case, a car hitting water will not explode but will be destroyed. Unless the player jumps out from a height, they won't die. Only way around it is to place area bounds.

Make it as a LTS rather than a TDM, when creating place the arena high and set the area dome to just cover the arena if you fall out the timer kicks in and you lose your life if you cant get back in the arena in 30 seconds which is impossible if created correctly.

 

I have an old one I made on Maze bank roof back in the PS3 days but can never seem to get my links to copy and paste on this site ? so you would need to use the social club and find it I am afraid, there is quite a few other user created ones out there too :)
