_SENZ
Hello! I heard that the v-Sync of the game is causing the stutterin that I'm recently getting. I heard that if I disable the game's v-Sync and turn on the v-Sync from my nVidia Control Panel, the stutter might go away. My problem is that even if I disabled the v-Sync from the game and I enabled the v-Sync from my nVidia's Control Panel, the v-Sync from nVidia is not working, I dont know why. I've also tried it in a program called nVidia Inspector but it's still the same. Can someone help me? Thank you! WIGILOCO
Is it working at all or working like in-game vsync which lowers FPS to 30? U can try to alt+tab while in game to get vsync to work, or change vsync setting in game when you are playing. Or you can use adaptive V-sync on nvidia control panel settings. It worked for me every time but U will have some tearing with it.
Frank ツ
With every dx11 or lower game i use rivatuner to cap my fps , so i have it capped at 65fps and vsyncs in every game to off to avoid any input lag and or mouse smoothing.
mahanddeem
How do you know nvidia v-sync is not working for you? Right click on desktop, choose nvidia settings, go to program control, choose GTA V and scroll down to vsync and select on. Lastly hit apply. FilipCRO
How do you know nvidia v-sync is not working for you? Right click on desktop, choose nvidia settings, go to program control, choose GTA V and scroll down to vsync and select on. Lastly hit apply. This, and if he wants, he can cap the framerate with rivatuner (RTSS) and thats it. Nvidia Vsync option is often much better than the ingame one. Also, I do not notice any input lag caused by vsync, though I am playing with a controller.
Microsoft Word
If V-Sync doesn't seem to work for you through the NVIDIA Control Panel, try re-installing your drivers and see if it makes any difference. Otherwise, go with the advice the others have provided.
