This will finally give me a chance to mix in non-cars, such as the Surfer, Slamvan, etc. they're currently in their own garage. I don't like how they look in regular garages when they block smaller cars.

Wait.. With rockstars new found ability to restrict certain things to certain garages (they tried with bikes). Maybe the trucks, ramp cars etc will go only in the CEO garage and ceo LSC.. Quite possible and hopefully Rockstar thought to do that (and also dump my technical , insurgent pickup etc in there while they are at it). I mean why else were they playing with in house LSCs?

I thought we were getting an auto import addition to the Securoserve stuff. Not sure why you guys think it's for personal vehicles. I'm fairly certain our personal cars won't go in these new spots.

If so, I'll store all my most expensive vehicles there, from most expensive to cheapest one...Don't know if I'll put bikes in there, but it's possible.

The other garages I'll fill with regular less expensive vehicles, but for which I currently have no(t enough) space available...

In a game called GTA something like this should have been available since day 1, especially online. IMO there should be no limit to how many cars we can own.

Its one thing to say well "console limitations" back in the early days of PS3/X360. But the game has been out on CG for quite some time now and there is no reason something like this was not available a very long time ago.

 

OT-Id probably sort them by class/type-bikes, muscle, super etc.

I have no idea what I'll do with all that capacity seeing as I already have everything I want, more or less. I guess there are a few more cars I wouldn't mind owning, a few that I already have that I'd like to have modded in a different style and the new cars from the update itself.

 

I won't be filling a new sixty car garage any time soon though, even if I had unlimited money I wouldn't get vehicles I didn't really want just to fill up spaces. I love the Esskey for example but I wouldn't want 10 different versions of it, just one customised perfectly is right for me.

Nope, because:

1. I'm not interested in CEO stuff, and I don't want some glitzy showroom. Moot point, anyway - can't get one without an office, and I'm unlikely to ever by an office, so...

2. I don't need 60 more garage slots - I've not even bothered with a 6th regular property yet, because ...I've only bought a couple of cars in the last 15 months.

 

3. On that note, bit disappointed by the final car list - only thing that's interesting to me is the R34 Elegy. Odds are I'm getting two cars this update, tops - an Elegy, and an 'Elegy Custom' or whatever (and that's only if R* doesn't make a total hash of the resemblance).


Shame the whole import/export thing looks like it's all just an extension of CEO work, because ...don't want to touch that with a 10-foot pole. Fingers crossed things like the warehouses can be bought by folk, not just corporate schmucks, although that's highly unlikely.

(as for any new properties, if the Elegy is at least a decent-looking car, I'm probably going to use up that 6th garage slot getting back my very first 2-car apartment that I started with - if nothing else, the dingy lighting's going to make for some good snaps of the Skyline...)

I will probably keep my 6 car house down by the bay on vespucci beach, keep the clubhouse across the road then just live in my office and any car or bike I then purchase that wont fit in clubhouse/bay. Will go under my office. Live like jay leno. Why not. All my vehicles under 1 roof. If only I could get my yacht there too ???

I'm pretty certain (as most of us are) that it will be additional spaces for personal vehicles. The only thing that has me a little wary is that they used the number 60. "Showroom quality storage for as many as 60 vehicles". And right now, players have as many as 60 cars.

 

But honestly, if it really does turn out to be just a swap type of thing where we can move the 60 cars we already own into this showroom, i'll be very surprised. They worded it to make it sound like its additional storage. They know people will think its additional storage. If it isn't additional storage, then they're just straight up trolling us, maybe in the hopes that we'll fill more garage spaces now, and then have to sell cars to buy the new ones when the dlc drops.

 

You'll never see me trash talking Rockstar on here. I'm not that guy. I love this game and what they've done with it. But i'll lose a lot of respect for them if this turns out to be some cleverly worded trick. I don't think it is. I hope its not.

 

On topic: i've never sorted my vehicles before, but this time i'm going to move and sort by class. And I feel like this might be more work than the import/export business itself.

Well to begin with I will move all my current cars there. My apartment/Stilt house and 10 car garages will be filled with cars a consider tools all 6 will have a Kuruma and Insurgent a fast bike, a top super car, a off road vehicle and what ever tool type cars come out with the DLC, So wherever I am on the map I can grab a safe vehicle in a emergency that suits the situation.(I also will work on spreading these locations out as much as possible)

in the 60 car garage (I think it is a 3 floor garage).

A Top floor of super's and sports.

A Mid floor of mainly Sports Classic's a few Muscle cars and the Tropis and Omnis as I count these as Sports classics also.

A lower floor of everything else. 3 Coupe's 3 Sedan's 3 Compact's 3 off roads 1 Kuruma and 1 Insurgent 1 bike and whatever else need's to be stored.

Except the 7 bikes that are spread about the Apartments as tools the rest will be in the clubhouse.

lol I am waiting for the hate because I intend to have 7 Kuruma's but it is the easiest way to make the cash for the rest of the fleet and it is nice to get from A-B without fear of a bullet in the head, it is not for easy access for trolling

As my main income is Pacific Standard I will only be able to have 116 cars but ill survive.

I've not decided if I will have every character purchase the car showroom extension but I have plans for two of my characters will definetly get it. (one on each profile)

 

My plans are for it to be just that a car showroom but not the cars you would expect to see in there so my vision is that I will have one floor of muscle cars/lowriders ordered alphabetically

by manufacturer if it looks good, if not I will then organise it by vehicle height and then car name, that's probably going to take up most of the 1st showroom.

 

The second character I'm gonna go for the "old car/rusty collection" so show off the older cars from the game thart are deliveried with the rusty look or spawn in rusty condition.

 

If I do strecth to a third character then I will probably make a bike showroom or go with the norm and make a supercar collection but I suspect I will also change this around regularly

so I'm never looking at the same cars in the showroom all the time.

so , of course I ´ll get the new, 60-slots garage , of course I´ll be safe with 120 slots , but then they could be all full of vehicles´variations very soon , sooner as you may think I´m a car fan and I love collecting & customising cars ...

My vehicles would be sorted per class , now that we have 20-slots "floors" ...

as for the money thing,I think I´d be safe with my 52 millions , I´ll buy some of them immediately (comet retro , Nero , elegy R34 , tempesta...) ,and i´d buy the rest of the new personal vehicles bit by bit if they perform well , or maybe I ll wait till they go on sale .... it will be the DLC where I spend the most of my millions on ....for sure

After cunning stunts, I dramatically cleaned out my collection. All that I've added since has been bikes, in the clubhouse. I have something competitive in most classes, at least that get raced frequently, still have a few slots, and haven't even used a 6th property yet. It all depends for me on what vehicles drop, and what they can do racing or if they have other unique capabilities. I'm not that much of a car person; most of my PV usage these days is still the Bati, with some Hak and Hak drag tossed in. Nice that the option is there for the serious collector, but that's not me.

Multiple insurgents spread around the city is the smartest thing you can do in this game, I mean.. I even have one in my mc clubhouse.
