What will you do when we get 60 extra garage slots ?

So, since we are pretty much confirmed to get 60 extra property spaces and i am just done with making a basic list of everything i will buy, i was wondering how everyone else his/her plans are

 

Here i can safely say that if said costs of the expansions alone and some new needed vehicles will be beyond 5 mil, i am gonna be broke for sure.

 

Further, i already kinda made a list with 120 cars and they will be stored/placed per brand

Yes indeed, i plan to fill every single spot i will get with a vehicle.

 

Besides that, i am talking about my primary character, i do not have any idea what the hell will happen with my secondary since, if i am being honest, that character only exists for owning more vehicles, but currently i could safely say that some of those 130 personal vehicles will not be taken out every month so i do not think i am in a hurry to work on that...and on top of that, like said, i think i will go broke.

 

I estimate my vehicle costs at 30 mil and i currently have less then 35 mil banked so....

Likely have an anxiety attack due to how I'll pretty much have unlimited possibilities as far as collecting cars go; the fact that I'll need to find unique colours for all of them; how to go about dealing with the whole organisation process; and the fact that I will easily spend all of the money that I have and will still want cars that I cannot afford.

 

Honestly though, I can't wait; this is definitely my kind of update and I'm just trying to prepare myself for what lies ahead. Please don't disappoint me, R*

I'm sure i'll fill all the slots eventually, but it won't be right away. I'm going to be smart for once and save space for future dlc vehicles. With 120 car slots, i'll finally be in the position to do that and not feel like I'm missing out on anything.

I still don't even have a sixth garage because it's just unnecessary. I'm probably going to ignore the warehouses and continue doing what I normally do.

 

God do I hope that XJ220 isn't faster than the F1, but I know it will be.

I will not act obnoxious about not filling it to the max because I still have no idea what to put there, I'll get all 60 spaces and be sure to move some deserved vehicles there to fit how I organize my cars, so I'll also buy some cars I've sold before for space.

 

I like placing specific types of vehicles together and organize them by class, continent/country, and luxury. If it is American, it gets put into the American garage. If it's a classic car of European make, it gets put in the European Classics garage. So on and so forth.

Five Dewbauchees, a V12 armored, a Lynx, the two Grotti sportcars, and my beloved Comet. I plan on making this an entirely British garage, so I'll buy a Cog 55 and other Brit vehicles, the non-Brit Euro cars get an entire floor for them in my CEO garage.

 

Eclipse Tower, Supercars

 

It's kinda strange having a Japanese racecar next to my Pagani and Lambos, so I'll be sure to move the ETR1 to the five spots that I plan to place some racecars in. I'll put the new XJ220 in its place and see if the new Pegassi will be worth it.

 

Unit 2 Popular, Muscle

 

There are still some muscle cars I wanna buy but didn't have the space for, so have no idea if I should move everything from here to an entire floor in my CEO garage or store the excess in 5-10 spots of a floor.

 

Murrieta Heighta, American cars and Lowriders

 

This is garage is a mess all thanks to the Insurgent and the Lowriders, I'll move my Insurgent to my current Kuruma garage that I keep my Tuners in and move said Tuners to the same floor as my racecars. I guess I'll keep the Lowriders in this garage or sell 'em all minus the Slamvan.

 

Kuruma garage, Tuners

 

I'm moving everything from here to their supposed place in my CEO garage minus the Kuruma, this garage will be the armed/armored vehicles section where I'll put my Insurgent and possibly the KITT as well, if it's a PV.

 

Cookers Ave, European Classics

 

Nothing changes, any classic European sportcar gets placed here, I still have four spaces left so that should say how much we lack some non-American classics,

 

Sandy Shores Clubhouse

 

All of my bikes go here, so if anything nice comes up then it's replacing either my Esskey or Defiler, depending if the bike is based on a Ducati or Yamaha/Suzuki/Honda w/e.

Probably will go like this: Fill up my remaining 3 slots.

 

If I have enough money at this point, buy the Import/Export stuff(to start the business and all.). Will probably wait for opinions on whether there's any preferred locations, etc.

 

After that.. IF I still have enough money...

 

Buy the 20-car garage expansion-thing for my office. If it's available for Maze Bank West. If not, move office to wherever has it, and then buy it.

 

Fill up 20 slots. Buy another 20. Fill them up. Buy another 20. Fill them up.

 

Farm money as necessary. All this is on the assumption I live long enough to fill that up. I mean, think about it: I've got 70 vehicles right now, including 10 bikes. I've had this game for about 1.5 years, played quite a lot.

 

I've already sold quite a few cars like the Stinger, Adder., Tornado/Voodoo/Chino/Slamvan custom...

 

And a few others. I could probably fill up the first 20 slots just buying back the things I've sold because of limited slots. Okay, maybe not. Excluding most of the lowriders, as they seemed to have limited life in my garages(too slow to be anything but a garage queen. And when you factor in that the slots are limited... yeah.)

 

I will go broke as a result of this update. Whether it's the update contents themselves, or me buying other cars, remains to be seen. I still want the Osiris, which at 2 million is no cheap vehicle. I'd like an Entity, a Coquette, a Stinger GT to go with my Stinger(once I repurchase it), a Windsor Drop (must have a 4-door convertible. Will go nicely with my Windsor)... Add in the leaked/rumoured special vehicles... not a dollar will be left.

 

So yeah, chances are even if R* just added a 60 car garage with this update I'd have a lot of playing and spending ahead of me.

Think I'll most likely move my current vehicles to the new garage (will still have space in it though), use the CEO office and yacht as my residence, swap my apartments for 10 vehicle garages, fill them with bonds and mothball them until needed.

If we really get a 40, 50 or 60 spots garage or "showroom" to put our personal vehicles, I'll buy one and put all my current cars there. Then I'll manage to get back some money by replacing my other garages by small ones.

But damn, those new properties would cost a lot I'm afraid. So it won't by my priority.

I have 5 10 car garages, but only about 17 cars, and 8 of those i use regularly, the rest are sort of just... there.

So i guess i'll just move all my cars into this one big garage just to have it all in the same area, might end up using more if it means i don't have to use more than one garage...

I've been looking forward to this for a long time - to have everything centralised on our main characters instead of spread across two characters, and remove the need to swap characters in order to access certain groups of vehicles (no more clouds). And since expanding my car collection to 120 vehicles this has been the one thing I loathe - not having access to certain cars for missions, meets, races, etc... and the phrase "oh, I've got one of those on my main/second character" will hopefully be a thing of the past.

Good point. I don't use my 2nd character too much, and now I can actually sell some of her cars to have extra cash and buy them for my main guy. I won't buy a showroom garage for her either so.....

 

Maybe by 2018 I'll start another car collection for her, but now is far from necessary.

Maybe buy a single car from the upcoming ones if it pleases me. I was never into these extra car slot discussions because besides the MC club I only have two 10 slot garages, and one of them is not even halfway filled. I don't really enjoy having cars I don't use collecting dust, so I've purchased and tried a lot over time and just kept the ones I either needed for races or that I actually like and enjoy to drive more or less regularly.

 

If it means car collectors will be happy (and quickly ask for 70 car slots instead) then it's welcome, but for me personally it makes zero difference.
