Things you LOVE about GTA V

Recommended Posts

Since it seems there's so much Negativity going around in this forum about this game, I think it would be a neat idea to have a thread where you can list everything you Love about GTA V. Only one rule applies:NO NEGATIVITY.This thread is meant to be 100% positive.

With that being said, here's a list of what I personally love about GTA V:

-This game has hands down the best graphics of any PS3 game I've ever played.

-Michael is an awesome protagonist (in my opinion)

-The car customization and the car handling feel a lot like the Burnout and Need for Speed series, which is most certainly a good thing!

-The country/desert section of the map is really awesome to explore due to all the little details that went in to making the map.

-Gun customization is always a good thing.

-Being able to purchase vehicles via the net add more of a purpose.

-The strip club is a lot more "convincing", if you know what I mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

Feel free to list your own!

Vehicle customising is probably my favourite thing. The variety of options available is very cool.

V did have things to love about I will give it that:

-using the internet on your phone instead of having to go to a computer or using an internet café

-Being able to go into convenience stores

-Snapmatic

-The return of planes

-I don't understand the hate of the character switch I thought it was kinda neat

-The weapons wheel concept adopted from RDR

-Weapon Customization

-Car Customization

-Vehicle Damage(though I believe can still be improved)

-Director Mode

-Purchasing property

-Buying/Selling stock

-Radio Mirror Park

-The Lab

-FlyLo FM

-Vinewood Boulevard Radio

-The Lowdown

-Chakra Attack

-The fact that Convoy was one of the songs on Rebel Radio. And I'm not even a fan of country music I just love that song

-Trevor

DetectivePhelps

The Lab, I'm feeling the noise when driving.

Call me Loco in the Coco but I enjoy the game more after story complete. Leaving ALL S$F for last. I'm doing that now until I head back to my home CJ Dan Andreas.

I enjoyed every bit of this game. I was one who to this day can't get immersed into GTA4, so I basically went from San Andreas to this. I'm glad they added vehicle customization and weapon mods. Driving at night was so awesome and this was back when I played on the PS3. My favorite things are also replying missions and no longer having to worry about re-buying weapons every time I get killed.

First person - it's not flawless but I'm so glad it's included the immersion into R* beautiful Los Santos is vastly superior to that of third person, and Gun combat is more intense, and the driving was enjoyable in most vehicles.

PC Performance - After playing the PS3 version and experiencing the game again on PC, its easy to tell that the game was designed to push the PCs and the hardware to their limits because the original release really feels like it compromises the games' potential significantly, which resulted in having a lot of corners cut.

On the PC, the presentation of the city is simply superb and wonderful to explore with tons of details. The mods make the game infinitely more enjoyable thanks to impressive port from Rockstar this time, making GTA V an absolute modern masterpiece in the series!

Lemoyne outlaw

nice thread op its nice to see some positive threads about this awsome game.

-the story. i know most people hated it but i loved it and i think its just as good as gta 4 or san andreas story.

-steve haines. i thought he was an awsome antagonist. he was better than dimitri or tenpenny in my opinion.

-the aircraft. i love flying in video games and unfortunately gta 4 didint have any planes. well gta 5 has planes covered and a good amount of helicopters too. and since the map is so big and diverse there are some awsome aerial views.

-the grand senora desert. the desert is my favorite part of the map. its so fun to go offroading and be a redneck. not to mention like i said in the above i love seeing the desert from the sky.

-north yankton. i love ny its so cool and unique. even though its limited to only two missions i still love it and i really wish rockstar would allow us to explore it normally. i could only imagine how awsome it would be if we could.

-rebel radio. it was about time we finally got another country music station in gta. the songs on this station are awsome.

these are only a few of the many things i love about gta 5. i could go on all day with how awsome it is.

1. Getting into max height with biggest airline jet and switching to cinematic view, just stunning and beautiful, especially at night. Could say otherwise as very nice graphics.
2. good thing is (mentioned earlier) saving all weapons upon being wasted (though san andreas had a feature like that too if you knew who to date).

3. Police do not shoot you while chasing you with vehicle if you have up to 2 stars and it barely goes to 3 stars if you mow over peds not too often.

4. if you zig-zag on running and jump around the police choppers can't shoot you even if you got 5 stars (good old feature from 3d era).

5. Giving "the finger" option in vehicle and appropriate verbal messages with it, its a good action starter if boredom hits you.
6: And of course the lab, mirror park and other good old-school music radio channels.

1.Firstperson mode
2.The score (which is awesome in my opinion , i even would choose GTA V Score than real life music)

3.Car models
4.The map - most impressing , i spend hours on xbox360
5.Radiostations - well made , but actually i prefer IV ones

I quite like the co-operativity of players, and seeing things unfold and back up again in heists. Or in FR when you're in a MC or part of a CEO group, people work together nicely. such as:

getting helicopters to pick everyone up

waiting for you :)

overall working together

in heists i love seeing everyone do their job so accordingly to what is going on. Like with no communication im able to complete some heists in 1 go because we all know what to do, how to do it and what the other players will be thinking or be trying to do. (this is obviously seen in prison brake when you see the pilot and demo work together so well.)

i also love how people, instead of flat out shooting me, will join in on what im doing. Like if someone is AFK ill go sit next to them in a van, open up a door, and they will just waltz right in XD

or if im driving my tug, occassionally ill just have a party on it either from randoms, MC or CEO. (to see a battle tug in action is sooo cool from a distance)

i also love underused things that i personally like. Like the tug, rump custom, (i am on a budget and i hate getting what everyone else is using. its just so weird) and using the LMG's instead of an AR. Oh, and LMGs IN the rumpo custom :3

Sussus Amongus

The tennis and golf mini games were done pretty well.

A very underappreciated part of the game right here. They were done incredibly well. I still go and play some holes of golf or play tennis against some random NPCs every now and then.
