A lot of what made TLOU combat great was just how rough it was, Joel could believably get into a scrap with three guys and win. Ellie is perfectly capable of slaughtering guys as well, but she wouldn't last in a melee fight with three grown men, she has to sneak around and pick them off. With Joel, he had the strength and weight to throw around. Basically, Ellie's combat is going to be less full-on, less rough. Richard Power Colt Posted December 4, 2016 Share Posted December 4, 2016 (edited) When I first heard about a sequel I was hoping for them to go with new characters since the first one concluded so well, but I actually now feel like it'll be nice to get together with these characters again. Perhaps there will be some form of redemption for Joel as his character got quite dark near the end of the 1st one. Good thing I just bought a PS4, not sure if I should have got the pro tho. No thanks on the multiplayer. I'm growing tired of every game that comes out today having to have a multiplayer attached to it. I'd rather have Naughty Dog focus 100 percent on the campaign. There's enough games with great multiplayers out there. But, games with compelling and unforgettable stories? Not as much.
