Is yacht docking permanent or just for the session?

I once docked my yacht on the east coast of the map, and the next session I was stationed in Vespucci beach once again. Is this supposed to happen? Or is my yacht supposed to be docked the last place I moved it no matter what session I join?

You're supposed to have to move it everytime but mines actually up near FZ permanently now...

Its suppose to be stationed where you last docked it. It only moves if its too many yachts in that area.

There is a patch that came out with cunning stunts, I believe, that fixed the spawn point of the yatch. Now the yacht is supposed to stay fixed in one location until you move it. If your yacht is not in its chosen spawn point it is free of charge to move it to that point when space is available.

It's permanent. Though on the rare chance too many yachts are around and mine gets docked between LSIA and the docks, it'll stay there even if I change sessions. But it'll be back at Vespucci after I turn the game back on later.

Thanks guys. I docked it over to the Pacific Bluffs/Chumash/Malibu docking area. Much nicer there.

I think it's permanent now. Mine's been docked up in Paleto Bay since forever now even after I tried moving it twice to Vespucci.

I wonder what would happen if 30 different Yatch were docked in the same place, in the same session...

There's multiple yacht spawn places at each location, if those are full the the next yacht will spawn at the next location closest to where you set it.

So if your yacht is set to Vespucci and Vespucci is already full your yacht and others set at Vespucci will spawn at the closests spawns at LSIA and Chumash.

I'm not sure how I do it but if I move my Yacht to North Chumasch f.e. and there is already a yacht and mine gets placed to the secondary spot and stays there through sessions, even if I restart my game and there's nothing in the first spot but then after a few times it will be placed in the primary spot.

It's permanent. I've parked mine in Paleto. It looks much better in there than Vespuuci. I checked. It stays even after you change sessions. Hopefully this doesn't change anytime soon.

Seems permanent but I always leave it way out middle of nowhere for easy piracy
