nicknamen
Hey guys. I wondering if you know that your site has been blocked in Russia. Yea, I understand - who the heck cares, but ... well for some reason I am. I interested to know did you get any warning before they blocked the site? Usually before add an site to their sh*tty blocklist they trying to contact owner or admins, sending them a email with information why they gonna block a site. If you got something like that could you please name a reasons they are mentioned there? Thank you. Flachbau and IgorX
AlienTwo
Don't worry, with President Trump and President Putin being such buddies, I'm sure this will be resolved very soon. Jimmy
I don't think or ever have of any ISPs who give warnings before blocking any particular sites. I wonder why a Gaming Forum would be blocked in Russia. i5 10400F • MSI Z490-A PRO • XPG 16GB DDR4 3000MHz • MSI RX 570 4GB • NZXT H510 • Cooler Master MWE 650 V2
uNi
It's blocked on various mobile connections in the UK, no surprise it might blocked in some other places. It counts as adult content, you can pass the block by authorizing your device to access adult content. Where are you trying to access the forums from? nicknamen
I don't think or ever have of any ISPs who give warnings before blocking any particular sites It's not some ISP's just blocking sites because they like to do so, there's a Federal Agency - Roskomnadzor which can order to all ISP in Russia block anything if they consider that any information on a site violates the law Last site they has blocked LinkedIn, they tried blocking some pages on Wikipedia, Twitter etc It counts as adult content, you can pass the block by authorizing your device to access adult content. Nono it's not about just an 'adult' content, yea they are stupid but not that much yet. Playboy isnt blocked haha. They always block something specific like 'child porno' or 'how to make bomb on your kitchen' lol Where are you trying to access the forums from? I don't have any problem with access, this is not about it I just been wondering to know a reason they blocked the site, because as I said their usual way trying to contact and warning administration first, that some 'content' must be deleted or site will be blocked. And this is strange that you didn't get any warning. Thank you for your response anyway, will try to tweet them haha @roscomnadzor
uNi
There is an agency like in Portugal but they only block warez sites. Not sure why they would block us then.
PhillBellic
There is an agency like in Portugal but they only block warez sites. Not sure why they would block us then. Could it be related to the Email preview problems you've been having lately?
Russell_Stone
Cloudflare is set up to block some Russian ISP subnets, I suppose, because there's exactly the same setup and scenario on my website. Just change thw Cloudflare settings and this will be it.
nicknamen
Cloudflare is set up to block some Russian ISP subnets In this case every russian user who is trying to open the site, instead of see forum pages get redirected to ISP's block page, where he can see warning that a site has been blocked due to Roskomnadzor directive. It's not about Cloudflare.
nicknamen
I have figured out what happened. Their purpose was not your site but a betting site ' _surebet_ '. Problem is as they are sh*theads and incompetent they just has blocked 104.25.243.35 at all.
