They haven't before but R* are unpredictable so we just don't know for sure. I believe it's turned on by them via the tunables so there's no way of knowing.

It happens on the day only sad people play games on. In the last 3 years, i must of played in the snow for like 5 minutes max. They really need to make christmas day earlier on GTA.

I can just picture all the sad children with their new games and controllers. I'm crying.

highly doubt snow is showing up over a week away from christmas.. i'd say dont expect it til late 23rd-early 24th.. but always a possibility of showing up sunday or monday since it would be a week or less.. but a very big doubt on that one.. im just hoping for a friday night start on the snow so we can have it maybe fri thru mon.. 4 day weekend of snow would be titties! just gotta start praying to the Snow God Bing Crosby!! lol

Considering the last couple of updates are massive compared to all from previous years (except heists), who knows what's in store for us this year. I wish the snow would last longer though. No time for GTA during X-mas and new year's.

2014 my crew were racing when the snow arrived, some idiot* decided it'd be fun to race the original slamvans.. you know, those ones that don't brake, handle or have much traction in the first place. Hilarity ensued

How could have I put myself into this situation!?! I have agreed to go away for Christmas, and new year is iffy, too. It sucks if I miss the snow altogether, hopefully it is for a longer period this time. It is so fresh and different, I can't believe it is for only a few days.

I'm hoping it snows for a good week or two this year... for days is not enough at all, especially when most people are buzzing on those days
