I love the random things the game decides should be snow-covered, like a freshly-pulled parachute, or the envelope of cash you're given at the end of an AR Contract

I love the snow, I just hate the f*cking minging cloudy miserable dull sky. Why can't the sun shine on snowy days, like in reality with bright sapphire blue sky?

Too bad I can't experience the snow in a PATRIOT CLASSIC, the kind of vehicle that would be perfect for the weather...

I had the funnest time today - I randomly texted the entire lobby "bring your best 4x4 to the bottom of Chiliad and let's go off roading in the snow"

10 minutes later we had 12 players riding the trail to the top of Chiliad in a single file line and I saw some really neat 4x4 options.

Then we proceeded to have a massive snow ball fight at the top of the mountain.

Been playing this game for what, 7-8 years now and that was a top 10 moment for me

Best cars for snow weathering effects anyone? The new Baller clearly doesn't win.

my ignus does spin out fairly easy as well, and it's fully upgraded (minus the spoiler (i like it's passive spoiler).🤣

i'm going to have to get me another sand king and fully upgrade it, they great in snow.

Visible snow splatter, not handling. The Baller looks as if it's been hit by snowballs.

Just wait 'till next years' April Fools' weather: snowy winter on the ground, green Halloween storm on the sky!

They should break out the weird neutral weather. Lime green skies with black and white lighting.

What about the gumballs INSIDE the gumball machine outside of Bincos?

...so Pursuit Races in the snow went about as well as one might expect!

oh-shit-shit.gif

Lol at the one particularly aggressive Vectre driver trying to pit people (and for some reason, really wanted to hammer me off the road) - juked him into a roadside barrier (thank you, Jester RR!), and then laughed as he got stuck on rocks at Pacific Bluffs. You're Sofa King welcome, buddy! :colgate:

Meanwhile, despite the nerf, the ZR350 remains really nice and planted, even in the snow. It was never the best racer in GTAO, and it's the worst-affected by the (heavy-handed) hotfix, but it's just such a good daily - driving it makes the game as a whole so much better.

Ah snow. The one thing that brings warmth to the generally cold hearts of the gta online community.

First snow day started of pretty well. Just a bunch of people having a snowball fight at the vinewood lsc, setting off fireworks, skidding about in vapid cliques and other cars with christmas horns.

Went on for about half an hour. Just a bunch of people having fun and not constantly blowing each others brains out.

Sadly nice things attracted a$$holes like sh*t attracts flies. Went clothes shopping with a bunch of the people and some dipsh*t scriptkiddo decided to teleport around the lobby blowing everything up with his explosive AK.

Most people left at that point, i decided to go to my agency in passive mode. He didnt like that so he crashed my game, ending what until he appeared was one of my best experiences in nearly 7 years of gta online.

I always thought the Vagrant was added specifically to be enjoyed in the snow, so i recommend that one.

I do not get why some hate the snow so much, even in normal cars I handle it pretty well.

I figure there's people who can't handle the snow at all, and people who played GTA4.

BTW there was a "Frost" blackjack table style available at the casino shop, not sure if that's new/time limited/just me not noticing it before

The only thing thats really affected is the effectiveness of breaking but this can be overcome by hitting both the break and emergency break at the same time for maximum stopping power. Not many players know you can do that.

Most fun new/old cars to drive in the snow? Don't want to miss the rare opportunity

The drift machine that is the Regina...swing that big back end out baby! Comet Safari and Streiter act as if the snow isn't even there, and the Brawler is a lot of fun as long as you don't need to stop. The FWD Pigalle is one of the best handling classics, and you can even put skis on the roof.

This is my first time playing in snow. Did like 10 Contract missions then started a Cayo heist. It's so cool going from winter to a tropical island like I'm taking a vacation to visit El Rubio lol. Also finally I can let my character wear those $50,000+ designer coats and the beanies and it look like it makes sense.

For me personaly the Vapid Clique.

Decent enough grip to drive, but just right so you can still drift around corners.

Or a Burgershot Stallion. Or the gauntlet hellfire.

That worked in GTA 3 era games but is TERRIBLE advice for GTA V & Online.

Locked up wheels have less traction and thus extend your breaking distance. Are you saying that the effect is lessened in snow?

Because I know that's not the case with actual winter driving.

Low to none Traction loss cars, if it looks like a Rally car, you are doing it right.

Issi Sport

Kuruma

Flash GT

GB 200

Troppos Rallye

Vagrant

Sultan Classic
