I recently started playing this and the seasons are great. Winter is done especially well. Drifting on the slick roads is a blast.

Hoping everybody but the people that "can't do their serious grinding on a 7 year old game for a week and so butt hurt cuz u get 355 days of clear days and how dare we get more than 3" people are enjoying the extension!! Get back on that mountain in case it's the last time!!

Finally some good surprise in the game. 

 

As for grinding. 

 

I understand when people can't do MC business sale missions during snow, because delivery vehicles and that mission, where player has to fly as low as possible with plane, can be a real nightmare without a snow, but I don't see where's the problem to do nightclub and bunker sale missions.

i personally dont care for the snow right now. it is kind of cool. but honestly im getting sick of it. i am also wondering why people wanted the new sultan in the snow? im not against it im just curious what people are upset about.

It's a rally car that is supposed to be cool in the snow: sliding around, jumping, etc. Instead we have Zhaba that can go 60 mph for 2 mil.

I think that's why I don't like the GTA snow as much as I used it, it looks miles better than the GTA one, for obvious reasons.

Next game is going to be impressive.

 

With that being said, I am still enjoying having the snow in this game, it doesn't last for a long period of time so having it for a few more days won't bother me.

i've seen just as many of you console kids bitching about a few days of snow, and yeah, it's tiresome.

 

personally, i'm quite enjoying the snow's extended stay.

Don't worry, the snow will soon be gone and you & your character will be able to enjoy 350+ days of shirtless frivolity without embarrassment.

Looks like it's two sets of 6 days of snow. Interesting to say the least. They usually have more snow days during the first period. Maybe they saw lots of people dropping off between the 26th-30th hence these extra days. Or it's always been set this way as everyone is having an extended break as this year and next is focused on a certain sequel!!

A few is not compared to majority, it's mostly the PC players complaining about the "sh*tty graphics" idc about a few negative comments by console players but almost every time a PC player posts on here it's to complain, so if you are a PC player that enjoys the snow you should more than anyone understand that it's the truth, not still defend the PC players by saying well a few of you do too, just keep positive comments going about the snow, not take a jab at the few people instead of the numerous... I'm trying to get rid of it, not hear more negativity from the group of PC players that arent the issue (you) lol 

 

I have it on console and PC so I know PC has better graphics, and it's a problem for snow, but ffs PC got everything on GTA better because of it, don't bring more PC war, console Shaming bs here just because console enjoys one thing that the PC can't lmao (and no this second part wasn't directed at you just in general)

I know the snow effect isn't that great, but it was nice that R* thought about stuff like that back in the day.  I always hoped they would come up with similar free mode/open lobby effects for other occasions.  Like free mode being permanently set to midnight during the days surrounding Halloween, where there is no NPC traffic, just crashed and/or burnt cars and dead bodies everywhere, and none of the street lights or electrical grids seem to be working.  And then maybe have the occasional mugger wearing a zombie mask try to attack players randomly.  

 

But if that is too much work, maybe use the snow textures for rare occurrences, like make the "snow" tan color, and have the occasional sandstorm hit the map, or parts of it. Or turn the texture dark grey and have the odd wildfire plague San Andreas, with the hills randomly burning.  Of course that last one may hit too close to home for some, my thoughts go out to our Aussie friends down under.

It would have been a lot more relaxing if Rockstar would have communicated better about this second and longer snow period.

I just did the Lost Santos Slasher clue hunt and killed him in the snow.  Felt pretty epic.

Same - he came after me at a wintry Sandy Shores Airfield in the early hours. Creepy but fun. Really hope R* put more of this stuff online.

 

Anyhoo, time for rest mode...hopefully Ps4 won't crash for a few days.
