The Snow Topic.

Snow made it much more fun to drive around San Andreas. Today was the first time I discovered the snow in GTA Online.

Also gave more of a reason to buy all the cars that has been released in the last month or so while I have been taking a break from GTA Online.

Hope it does come back this weekend, bit more time to enjoy it then (even hungover).

 

BTW I do kinda feel the snow isn't as slippy as before, but who knows.

I thought it felt a tad easier this time around. Maybe R* tweaked it slightly to help import/export runs?

I love the snow. The lighting effects, especially at dusk in the city are really good, gives the game that same eerie feeling like when it snows for real. I'd like it to stay around for longer.

 

Does anybody else straight away wear all the cold weather gear? Hats, gloves, boots, scarves etc?

I highly advise everyone here to dress up in snow mountain climbing gear, and summit Mount Chilliad on foot if you can. It's very fun. Especially at night in harsh conditions. It's an annual tradition of mine. Here are some photos from my expedition.

 

Gear required:

 

- Helmet

- Sports down jacket

- Ski mask

- Ski goggles

- Snow pants

- Boots

- Parachute backpack

- Pickaxe/hatchet

- Flashlight

Create a land race in the creator. You don't need to publish it. All you have to do is set the weather you want and test it. During the test, pause and load up online and the weather will carry over and stick until you switch sessions. Bare in mind that only you will see the weather effects. Other players will have the actual weather.

Always. Love winter clothing; the loss of snow is always such a disappointment.

I recorded alot of stuff in the snow... NOw getting it all off my harddrive and online... I really miss the snow... It makes driving alot harder and CEO-sales are very tedious, but still... I love the awesome view (at night) when it's snowy...

 

If it would reappear alot more, it wouldn't be so special, so... Let's really soak up that snow during the last run within a few more days... I know I will... :-)

I was shocked to see the snow still last night after midnight it was a nice extension hopefully they add an extra day for new years too... So haven't checked since midnight but snow gone today then?
