The only thing I'm worried is that the 60 car garage will only be for stolen cars, to then sell them. Much like the warehouse is for storing and selling cargo. I' REALLY hope it isn't though, but the fact that the garage is part of the office scares the sh*t out of me.

 

Nah, the vehicle warehouses and 60 car garages are clearly separate things:

 

"New Vehicle Warehouses will house the results of your importing and exporting operations, while CEOs can also reap the fruits of their labor with expansions to the Executive Office buildings. Add massive Executive Office Garages with up to three floors of showroom quality storage for as many as 60 vehicles, complete with customizable décor and a Custom Auto Shop."

 

Why would you be modding cars you're just going to resell? And why would you have "showroom quality storage" for cars that just come and go? No, we're getting both vehicle export warehouses AND 60 car garage add-ons to offices.

 

This comforted me a bit, hope you're right. :p

I can't wait for this DLC.

Expanding on CEO..... can it have a upgrade from 4 player limit for the people buying the Vehicle Business? Since I'm sure it'll be expensive as f*ck. CEO stuff can easily be outnumbered by a big MC seeing as they're more than half the org's numbers.

 

But boo..... it sounds like the new garage really is just for the business. So much for buying 6 60 car garages, I'd never complain about garage space again

What do you think, "Custom Auto Shop" will be the new custom shop (similar to Benny's), or it will be just a trivial workshop inside the new garages (like it is in biker clubhouses)?

Glad to help. Also, if you look at the two screenshots of the garages/warehouses, they're completely different. One is a pristine multi-level showroom; the other is a filthy garage or warehouse with cars in the background under cloth. They're laid out entirely differently. I think it's clear that the first one is what the 60 car garages will be, the second is the warehouse for the import/export business. They do mention customization to garages of course but that doesn't usually entail going from one layout to something entirely different. So I'm sure these are completely different, unrelated game assets.

The latter, I think. An on-site mod shop so you don't have to drive cars to LSC.

And also wrong, because he said it would be announced on the 8th or 9th. And let's calm down about the release date too, until it actually comes out. There's a reason Rockstar didn't announce a date yet; it's because they think it might slip back for whatever reason.

I'm assuming two ramp cars going head to head is just going to end up being a vertical car ass five.... I also wonder if it can flip a tank....

 

I strangely doubt that... I mean, its still a car, and tanks crush cars, soo...

After this update I bet it's going to be dry until June I remember last year we was getting monthly DLC's than they stopped until the Stunts

 

If past updates are anything to go by, probably not likely. If my information is correct, the three longest gaps between updates since release are:

 

12.18.14 - Festive Surprise

~3 months

03.10.15 - Heists

 

03.15.16 - Lowriders: Custom Classics

~3 months

06.07.16 - Further Adventures in Finance and Felony

 

07.12.16 - Cunning Stunts

~2.5 months

10.04.16 - Bikers

Would be great if Rockstar completed one of the downtown construction sites to accommodate these new garages. Always thought they would be developed into actual structure as the game progressed.

This may sound a little stupid, but I'm convinced that the first screenshot is the Mile High Club. I looked around and was only able to find 1 crane that lines up identically.

Ok, so far all I can say about the DLC:

(considering the pictures order in R* website)

 

-Besides the cars already in-game (Progen Tyrus, Coquette BlackFin, Enus Windsor and Gallivanter Baller LE LWB Armored), we can see 2 new vehicles: one based in Jaguar XJ220 (orange) and another based on Lamborghini Asterion and Huracán (blue).

-A new garage with elevator. The car on elevator seems to be the car you are driving, since the lights are on. I believe you choose a car and use the elevator to leave. I don't think we'll have a car slot over that elevator neither it's a plataform too.

-Nothing new on second picture (besides that waistcoat, it seems new, not sure).

-The 3rd picture, aswell the first, show a new garage. It's not a high-end garage (YES!), and no new cars there. Anyway, by the style of that garage, I'd assume it's not with the building, but a separate place. For those wondering, the cars there: Coquette BlackFin, Banshee 900R, Tampa, 811, Tyrus, Mamba and Sultan RS.

-Last picutre, a Flipper (as seen in Fast and Furious 6). By the tyre design I'm assuming it would perform well in tamarc aswell in gravel, and by the tyre size, seems it has a lot of grip too. The car being 'flipped' is a Karin Intruder, already in-game. We can see small scratches on the Flipper, probably caused by a small crash while it throw the Karin into air, so I wonder: the Intruder is a normal car, with normal height, what about a lower car? Would it crash? Or get flipped too? Btw, much worse design than original.

 

Another notes: as the Garages seem to be an add-on to Offices, I don't think you'd be able to own more than one. And I don't think the vehicles stolen will be saved there. And finally we have an Auto Shop inside our garage.

This is the part that confused me or made me think about the usability of the showroom.

So it t seems like there will be three separate things added, a warehouse, custom auto shop and showroom. So that picture of a filthy garage you mentioned could be a custom auto shop, this is where my worry came from, as in worst case scenario of course. You never know with R* haha, that's why I think that way.

 

E: To add something.

 

"CEOs can also reap the fruits" is key here, how did I miss it. Reap the fruits can obviously only mean one thing haha. It's a 60 car usable garage surely.

Hopefully, this DLC allows us to steal high-end rare NPC cars like the Infernus, Surrano, Comet and Rapid GT that spawn in free roam.

 

It makes me so mad we can't do anything except drive them right now!

I'm going to remain skeptical on the 60 car garages being for PVs and not your stolen collection. Especially since the crate warehouse are tier'd with small, medium and large. I.e. 20, 40 and 60 car warehouses.

 

One would also think that having 6 separate properties, for 60 vehicles, along with another CEO place for 60 more would be an overkill at this point. You wouldn't have thought R* would create that many seperare locales when they were planning a giant garage for only 1 place anyways. Unless of course there is a lot more cars to come that anyone realizes.

 

Regardless, no overhype for this guy. Just a litte extra money making effort to be prepared.

120 vehicle spaces on a single character isn't enough space to own all the vehicles. Even 240 spaces isn't enough.

I wouldn't count on that strategy working anymore. R* is beginning to wipe account assets of repeat offenders, and even resetting character progress, if not banning them completely. So unless they can exercise incredible restraint, which most glitchers can't, the days of the "safe" bonds are numbered.
