Im wondering if the garages will be limited in size to the offices

eg maze=60

lombank=30 etc etc

It should, and it probably will.

Anyone expecting the cheapest office to get 60 car garage space is a fool.

All the office upgrades and decor options are the same whether you're in Maze West or Maze Tower. In fact, the only difference between places is the view, location, and conditions on the roof... thus, the prices.

If Rockstar wants to charge you $5M for the first 20 spaces and $2M for the next 20 and $2M for the 20 spaces after that, why do they care what office it's attached to?

*** I am making those numbers up as they would be within reason of both Rockstar's current greed and logic levels ***

Their lazyness really screws up the potential of this game. There's only 4 offices, was it really too hard to make 4 different interiors? They could really have gone apesh*t and creative with it, give us reasons to prefer the Maze Bank over the Lombank, besides the view. Justify the price too. Imagine if the Maze Bank Tower had a circular office on the top floor with a 360 degree view of Los Santos. Here's my 6,000,000$.

People wishing for common cars...ugh...waste of space.

Seriously, like has been said, if you want common cars go play real life.

That being said, i have nothing against a few more common cars like german class hatchbacks or some modern fast sedans from brands like ubermacht, albany, obey and benefactor, or you know, more suv's, but please, i do not want ugly and boring slow vehicles with no modifications like the karin asterope and bravado gresley.

Example of how cars that can look subtle are done great(and are not even well performing), well, that is gonna be vehicles like the benefactor dubsta and declasse asea....vehicles mind you nobody drives anymore because they lack power.

>complains about people wishing for common cars

>goes on to say how they wish for common cars

hypocrisy is strong with this one foh

Ugh, ok, here is indept a better insight in my point of view:

Those cars i named....they are common, but not as seen almost everywhere...i am not talking about some opel corsa or something that is...irl quality good, but still really boring in every way possible

Ubermacht/bmw station wagons....well the really high end models you might see them every week if you go in traffic once, but they arent like everywhere and you could still say something like: darn, i wish i had the money to own one.

same for a good mercedes g class....or an older land rover....which brings us to the next point why the benefactor dubsta(and the asea) has(/are) done right.

It is (/they are) high on mods..... you can chose to keep it stealthy or make something completely different out of it

the asterope and gresley....not so much, which is why people in general are gonna take a dubsta over a gresley any time of the week.

I doubt many people would notice if rockstar would one day just decide to blacklist gresleys

I've compiled the information from the Fireden posts here and here (originally taken from 4Chan on October 26th - the 4Chan thread has since been deleted).

Remember that this is NOT official information, so take this with a big spoonful of salt.

GTA Online: Import/Export

- No setup costs to start a mission

- Go to SecuroServ PC

- Open Vehicle Cargo Tab, hit Source Car

- Get given mission, go find the car, steal and bring back to warehouse

- Pay repair costs/upgrade to buyer's specification

- Can do more Steal missions to get more cars, limit of 40 (Warehouse capacity)

- If you damage cars while boosting them, you must pay the repair costs

- You can get collections of cars, which sell for more as a collection than they do individually (eg. Rally collection)

- Vehicles can be stolen by other players or blown up. Players can steal your cars and take them to their own Warehouse

- There is no reward to players who destroy others' vehicles, only the ability to store them in their own Warehouse if stolen successfully

- 3 Types of sale:

- Private Buyer: Straight up steal and sell for a profit

- Car Showroom: Steal, light upgrades, sell for a bit more

- Specialist Offer: Steal, heavy upgrades, sell for a big profit

- Sell Missions: only 1 car per Associate

- Associates get paid $500 added to their SecuroServ payout per car sold, up to a limit of $10,000

- Special Vehicle missions are like miniature Heists (not dissimilar from Prison Break Setup: Police Station - where you steal the Casco from the Cargo boat)

Big discount on Special Vehicles after completing their corresponsing Special Vehicle Mission.

- New "Regular" Vehicles:

- XJ220

- Centenario

- R34

- others, (supposedly about 20 new vehicles coming in total)

- New Special Vehicles:

- Flip Car/Ramp Car (Variation of Dune Buggy)

- Boxville Van with Turret, Armor plating and a big scoop/plow on the front

- Phanton Truck cab with a big scoop/plow on the front

- Ruiner 2000 (very similar to KITT from Knight Rider), can jump, has a parachute, guns and rockets (homing and regular)

- Amphibious Blazer (Quad Bike), with dual machine guns

- Amphibous Technical (Pick-up truck), with machine gun Turret in the back

- Voltic, with a big Rocket/Jet engine on the back. Can be activated on ground and while airborne

- 2 Vehicles purchaseable from Legendary Motorsport (probably XJ220 & Centenario), others from Benny's

- Special Vehicles cost between $1 million and $6 million. Ruiner 2000 (very similar to KITT from Knight Rider) is $5.7 million.

- 2 cars being held back in Tuneables

- New Organisation clothing styles, new male & female clothing in stores

- New Masks: Harambe the Gorilla, Horses, Pugs, Sugar Skulls, Dinosaurs, 'Oni's (?????), one which resembles Cthulhu

- NO NEW Weapons

- CEO Office Garages are multi-tier circular garages. Cars are parked facing the middle, with a big window to the outside world.

There are stairs on the side for going up/down levels, and a mod shop.

I really hope not but i just have a feeling this 60 car garage wont just store cars we drive. I mean knowing Rockstar they will mess something up somehow... Just like we can pretty much see this is public lobby only. Even after all the bitching we do and how they say they want our opinions.

Yes. People forget all the restrictions this open world game has.

Well...i never thought i'd say it...but making up a list of 60 cars i still would like...if those 60 spots are added and i do not have to trade in any other personal vehicle space for it....

I honestly can say i will not need extra space afterwards anymore, since my 60 plus vehicle list contains quite some cars i do not see myself driving them every month and a few are so cheap that...if rockstar f*cks up a vehicle class again, i will be able to just trade in a vehicle without really having a huge loss on value or emotional value so to speak.

Based on the implied difference between the 20-60-car personal garages in/near CEO offices and the warehouses shown as where you hide/store stolen cars, you could play with all your 60 stored cars in IO or Friend/Crew lobbies all you want, the same as you being able to enter your office and clubhouse whenever you want. You just can't steal/sell cars unless in public lobbies, like you can't operate crates or bikerwork in private.

For those who say the blue car is a Reaper... Here's a rear comparison... The brake lights are different, the Exhaust pipes are lower and the diffuser is different on the blue one from the Reaper.

I`m pretty sure the blue one is a Reaper, only with a touch of Benny`s hand.

I don't want to be a Debbie downer but what if the 60 car garage is just a display piece for the 60 cars you already own? IE if you have 6 properties and an office, the 60 cars are displayed at your office as an alternative way of choosing one instead of requesting it from your secretary. I hope I'm wrong.

I say you are mistaken

Nah, it looks like another poor and lazy attempt at a new car from R* using an existing car as a basis.

It should be obvious from the door alone that its a "new" car and not a Reaper.

Could just be kinda similar.

I honestly see not a single detail that is a carbon copy...like you have with the back of the massacro and rapid gt.

Everything seems slightly different.

Besides...we have not seen the front yet....which still could make or break the vehicle in general.

I think the front will be dope if it is a copy-paste of the Tempesta from the Burnout Paradise, which I believe the "R* dude" had in mind.

Two different locations (based off my interpretation of the leaks and Rockstar's email):

20/40/60-car Personal Vehicle storage in your office

Up-to 40 cars stored in new vehicle-warehouses (different buildings than crate warehouses) that are specifically for stolen vehicles to sell at profit.

They spent 5 years making one huge map. You want to make me believe that 4 different small interiors would be too much work for a billion dollar gaming company? Get real...

And the consoles can definitely handle it, as showcased by the numerous interiors they locked out.

This is undoubtedly a new car...

Remember, we've had copy-paste rear ends before.

Coquette Classic + Blackfin

Rapid GT + Exemplar + Massacro

The chassis is just too different in the front, while almost the same in the back.

Pretty much textbook R*.

I imagine the car hauler from SP will be making its way to Online.

You'll probably attack them to steal cars.

I hope Rockstar offers a service (for an absurd fee, of course) to automatically move specified cars to other garages. I'd have at least 40 cars (with just my primary character) to dove 1-at-a-time to the new office garage.

They added 20 slots in the last update and it's been reasoned that more spaces isn't very much of a drain on resources as no more than 10 are rendered at any one time.

If this is any indication of what's to come, I wonder if we'll have 60 horse stables in RDR2?

I don't want to be a Debbie downer but what if the 60 car garage is just a display piece for the 60 cars you already own? IE if you have 6 properties and an office, the 60 cars are displayed at your office as an alternative way of choosing one instead of requesting it from your secretary. I hope I'm wrong.

Seems like a lot of design/rendering effort and promotion to create a replacement for an on-screen text menu. I strongly doubt this.

took 3 years to get 60 storage slots. I strongly doubt they'd add 60 more in 1 update.

There is actually a mention of more storage.

Notice : ...showroom quality storage for as many as 60 vehicles...

The way they say it pretty much hints that there's additional storage incoming, just like what they did with clubhouses but more extreme.

Worst case is that they'll only allow certain car classes to be in it, but I doubt it because that wouldn't be profitable for them.

Besides that the ''leak'' also confirms more storage coming.

It would be incredibly stupid and moronic to have such a big and showy Showroom, with windows everywhere, in the an easy to spot location in the middle of LS, to store over 60 high-end stolen cars.

It will be a 40-space WAREHOUSES for storage.

The circular SHOWROOM will be for Personal Vehicles, starting at 20 spaces, that can be upgraded to 40 and 60 spaces, and can also have its decoration customized.

Why the hell would you want to customize a warehouse to store stolen cars in there?

Seriously people, R* is partially to blame here because their PR department is laughbly bad, but you guys need to use your brains too.

This sh*t reminds me of when IGG 1 was going to drop, you people speculating what manufactor that the Osiris would be, while completely ignoring the front badge of it in one of the screeshots, I even showed copy and pasted the badge while comparing to the screenshot and you still speculated.
